When your mind is racing, spiraling, or caught in a loop it can't escape, the fastest way out is often not through the mind at all — it's through the body. This meditation is designed for moments when you feel activated, overwhelmed, anxious, or caught in an OCD trigger, offering a steady path back to the present when your thoughts feel like they're in control. We'll begin with the breath, using it as an anchor to gently guide your awareness out of your head and into your body. From there, we'll consciously soften the belly and drop the shoulders, releasing the tension your body often holds without you realizing it. You'll bring quiet attention to your hands and feet — simple points of contact that remind you: you are here, you are safe, you are in this moment, not the one your mind is looping on. We'll close with a brief body scan, checking in with yourself from head to toe, leaving you steadier and more grounded than when you began.
