Ocean Waves Pulling Tumbling, Crackling Rocks - 10 Minutes

I recorded this audio at a small beach in California. There is a cove filled with many different-sized stones and rocks. As the waves splash and pull back from the shore, they drag the many stones and rocks out, tumbling together towards the sea.

The sound of the stones of different shapes and stock knocking against each other creates this super-satisfying crackling sound intermixed with the hiss, splash, and crash of the water. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Burnished

As a pebble upon the beach
Being rolled across the sands,
I'm knocked and broken, battered, chipped,
Tumbled by the sea's rough hands.
Though beaten, crying at each trial,
Scars left with every moan,
They're revealing veins of geometric grace
On a smoothly, polished stone.
