Today we're going to do some relaxation.

Today grab one of your favorite toys,

Lie down and close your eyes.

Take a moment to hear all the different sounds that you can hear inside and outside the room.

Can you notice sounds that your body makes?

Take notice of the sound of your breathing as it goes in and out of your nose.

Can you feel the different temperature when you're breathing in and out?

Notice how the air you breathe in feels nice and cool.

And then notice how it feels warm as you breathe out.

And then notice the way your breathing changes,

The way your belly goes up and down.

Just like waves in the ocean.

Up and down as you breathe in and out.

Starting to feel more and more relaxed.

As you close your eyes,

Notice the way your body feels.

Does it feel cold?

Warm?

Tertiary?

Tired?

So many different feelings that you can feel all over your body.

I want you to imagine now that you're like a robot and that every part of your body has a special light that shines bright from the top of your head,

Lights down your arms,

Chest,

Legs all the way down to your feet.

To help us relax,

We're going to imagine those lights turning off and allowing each body part to turn off along with it,

Helping them to go all relaxed,

Soft,

Almost a little floppy.

Starting with the top of your head.

Imagine as you take a breath in and out,

Off the light goes and your head feels nice and relaxed,

Softening it and easing it.

Imagine the lights on your eyes as you take a breath out,

Off the lights go.

Making your eyelids feel soft and relaxed.

Switching off now the light on your neck as you breathe out,

Off the light goes,

Allowing it to feel soft and relaxed.

Moving to the shoulders as you breathe out,

Allowing the lights on your shoulders to switch off,

Making your shoulders feel nice,

Soft and almost a little floppy.

On your chest,

Switching off each of the lights as you take your breaths in and out.

Switching off the lights all the way down to your belly,

Off,

Off,

Off they go.

Helping your belly to rest and relax.

Switching off the lights now,

Down your legs,

Breathe out and off,

Off,

Off they go down to your knees,

Allowing your legs to get all soft and relaxed.

Off the lights go further down your legs,

All the way down to your feet.

Imagine that all your toes have bright lights on them too.

Off,

Off,

Off they go.

Letting them go,

Letting them relax,

Allowing them all to sink into the floor now,

Your whole body relaxing.

As the lights have all switched off now,

It brings feelings of relaxation,

Calm and ease.

Now I'd like you to visualize a green meadow.

The meadow's green comes from its luscious beautiful grass.

There are dandelions scattered through the meadow and when you walk,

The little florets of the dandelions floats away into the sky,

Twinkling almost like stars as they are reflecting the sun's light.

It's a beautiful sunny day,

Only maybe one or two clouds in the sky.

Waiting for you in this meadow is a big beautiful hot air balloon.

You and your favorite toy are going to go for a ride.

Hopping into the basket now,

The hot air balloons balloon is big,

Beautiful and whatever color that you love.

There are feelings of safety and security as you are in this basket.

It keeps you safe and protected while you go on your ride.

As you take each breath,

The balloon starts to gently rise from the grass beneath it,

Gently going up,

Up,

Up into the sky,

Floating gently into the breeze.

You and your favorite toy see all the wondrous sights around you.

See the grass of the meadow as it stretches far and wide and see the top of the trees as you float above them.

The gentle floating of the hot air balloon brings feelings of calm and ease.

The hot air balloon floats above a row of houses and look,

There's your friends and family waving to you saying hello.

What a wonderful sight.

What a great adventure.

It's time to go back down to the meadow.

As you breathe gently,

The hot air balloon starts to go down,

Down,

Down,

Gently making its way back onto the grass.

You and your favorite toy have made it safely to the ground.

Gently now notice how your body feels back on the floor beneath you.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and whenever you're ready,

Open your eyes.

You have done great work today.
