Please find a comfortable seat,

Allow your body to soften,

Your jaw unclenched,

Your breath fall into its own easy rhythm,

And your shoulders release any tension they've been carrying.

Notice your breath,

The simple movement of air entering and leaving your body,

No effort,

No control,

Just your natural breathing.

No matter the season of life you are in,

You can always look for the glimmers,

The sweet moments of peace and contentment,

The scent of coffee first thing in the morning,

The warmth of a cozy blanket,

The perfect song on your drive home,

Your pet curling up beside you,

Gazing with wonder at a star-filled sky.

These are brief flashes that remind you that life is beautiful.

Now,

Gently turn your attention inward and visualize your own unique glimmer.

It may be a memory that warms your heart,
