Hello and welcome.
This short mindfulness exercise will help you centre your heart,
Open up those energetic chambers and allow energy to flow gently,
Strongly.
Helping to revitalise,
Re-energise and to recharge the heart centre.
Where you can find a nice comfortable place to sit.
Don't cross your legs and put your feet flat on the floor.
Place your hands on your thighs,
Resting your fingers at the end of your knee.
Take a nice deep breath in and release.
And with gentle,
Easy flowing energy of the breath gently breathe in again,
Slowly counting to five as you do.
And then breathe out,
Slowly counting to five.
Continue this breath,
Gently and slowly allowing it to penetrate every cell within the body.
And bring your left hand to your heart.
Take another deep breath in and gently releasing at a count of five.
And then bring your right hand and cover your left hand over your heart.
Breathe in to a count of five and gently release.
And as you next breathe in and out,
See the heart expanding,
The energy moving out,
Opening and welcoming in the energy of the heart colour of green and pink.
Feel it filling your heart,
Expanding the energy and as you breathe out,
Gently releasing all that is not supposed to reside within the heart.
On the gentle count of five,
Breathing in,
Breathing calmness,
Peace,
Joy and happiness.
Breathe out all tension and stress,
All energies not needed or wanted.
Repeating this until you can feel all the heart chambers open and energy flowing in and out and around.
Then think of one thing,
The first thing that comes to mind that you are deeply grateful for.
And as you breathe in calmness,
Peace,
Joy and happiness,
Also breathe in this sense of gratitude and say to yourself,
I am grateful and state that which you are grateful for.
Taking that gratitude deep into the heart chambers,
Allowing it to fill and to swell.
And breathing in again,
Deeply,
Repeating I am grateful for and stating that which you are grateful for.
And gently exhaling and once again,
Breathing in,
Stating I am grateful for and that which you are grateful for.
Nice slow deep breaths in and then out,
Allowing the heart chambers to hold the energies,
Calmness,
Happiness,
Joy and gratitude.
Now lower your right hand back to your leg with your fingertips touching your knee.
Taking a deep breath in again,
At your count of five,
And then releasing to a count of five.
Placing your left hand back on your leg with your fingertips at your knee.
Breathing deeply in to a count of five.
And releasing to a count of five.
Opening your eyes,
Stretching out your arms,
Stretching out your legs.
And sitting for a moment in that energy,
Allowing the heart centre to feel all of that energy that you have breathed in.
And allowing the heart centre to now function as it should,
To carry you forward into the day or into the next day.
Holding those energies within your heart.
