Angus here.
I just wanted to share a few affirmations with you on a self-care journey and I feel like we give so much of ourselves that sometimes we can forget to pour into ourselves.
My favorite saying is,
Keep your cup full and serve from your overflow.
So whatever flows onto that saucer,
Serve from your saucer,
Not from your cup.
Your cup is yours to keep.
Your cup is yours to keep full at all times.
You need your cup in order for you to be good for not only yourself but for others.
So with that being said,
I want to share some affirmations to affirm us today.
Before we begin,
I would like for you to prioritize your comfort,
However that may look for you.
Once you get into your comfort position,
Let's intentionally take some breaths.
I feel like breath is our anchor.
Breath is life force.
Breath brings us to center.
So let's take some breaths and it's at your own pace and I will give you a few minutes to do that as you gather yourself.

I just want to remind you,
Take what you need and leave what you don't.
Affirmations are like trying on clothes.
See what fits for you and feels good for you.
The ones that resonate.

Simply set them to the side.
Remember,
You are in control of your self-care journey.
