This 15-minute guided process is intended to support you with releasing the pain that often arises with feelings of depression. Whether you are experiencing physical, emotional, mental or spiritual pains, this meditation is a gentle energy process where you can feel safe to sit with and release whatever arises in your awareness, leaving you with a feeling of lightness and a sense of peace.

Welcome to this guided meditative process on sitting with the pain of depression and allowing what is.

My name is Fola and here at DeepMindSquared we provide meditations and other support in order to really provide the sense of relaxation of body and mind while providing deep energetic healing as you continue on your life journey.

So I just want to thank you for saying yes to your desire to heal this depression,

This low mood.

Many humans experience periods of depression in their life and it could be a scary place to find yourself in.

Having had personal experience with depression I know it can be challenging to face each day and find the motivation to create change.

I pray this guided process will support you in instilling a sense of peace and provide you with insights on how to navigate your current mental health challenges.

When we're depressed we often try to hide our emotions or we're so disconnected from what we're feeling that it's hard to recognize the depths of the darkness.

This may also be due to the pain that exists inside.

No one wants to feel pain and so it's easy to want to run and cover it up.

This meditation is an invitation for you to know that you are safe and supported and that by allowing challenging emotions or painful experiences to exist you in fact enter into a new state of surrendering to life's journey.

So as we enter into this process remember that you are in control and you can bring yourself back to the present day reality at any time by simply intending to stop the process.

As you go through the process you may notice different thoughts,

Sensations,

Images,

Sounds,

Your mind may wander and these are all part of your experience in ways in which the unconscious becomes known.

So allow yourself to move through the experience without attaching to an outcome and if you find your mind wandering too much simply bring it back to the anchor be it breath,

Sound,

Or sensation and trust the process will be exactly what it needs to be.

Let us begin.

So finding yourself in your comfortable and safe space for the next 10 minutes or so.

Whether you're sitting or lying down I invite you to find yourself comfortable.

Setting this intention to just be with what is.

As you become aware of this position you find yourself in perhaps your eyes remain open or you find them slowly closing and begin now to connect with your breath or some form of anchor be it the sounds in the room,

The sounds of this music in my voice,

Or perhaps sensations that you're noticing in your physical body in your awareness.

And we're going to just take a few deep breaths here together just allowing yourself to become more present with that anchor.

So inhaling letting it go on the exhale inhaling again filling the lungs,

The belly,

Exhaling it all out releasing and relaxing.

Finally this last big breath in taking perhaps another big sniff at the end and letting it go.

So finding yourself here in this moment connecting again with your anchor reminding you that during this process you are safe and it is okay to feel.

We're going to start with breathing deep into the belly with an imagination of light this visualization of light filling your belly.

So as this ball of light begins to grow you're choosing the color which you'd like to see it become.

Knowing that this ball of light is a transformational light this fire of the light is going to transform the pains,

The discomfort,

The challenges that you might be facing within your mode of depression.

So as this fire begins to burn brighter and stronger just begin to become aware of the rest of your body.

Maybe there's different sensations that are arising maybe there's tension,

Tightness,

Physical pain,

Maybe you notice other colors or different forms of energy in your shoulder,

Your leg,

It might even extend out past your physical body.

Whatever that might be just bring one of those little pieces into your awareness.

We're not trying to change anything here just being aware of it.

Can you allow what is to be present with it before trying to create any changes and focusing still on whatever that sensation or pain that part of you.

Begin to imagine the light of that fiery ball of energy in your belly start to move into that space starting to merge with whatever that pain body is.

Just notice whatever it is that you notice as these two elements begin to merge the transmutational power of fire.

What are you sensing as these two elements begin to merge into one?

Perhaps there's no changes but most likely you begin to have awareness of a shift.

What is that shift?

Is it lightness?

Is it peace and stillness?

Or is it transforming into another emotion,

Another pain?

Allow the fire,

Allow that light energy to continue to merge with whatever it is that's showing up,

Surrendering to what is wanting to be seen,

Just trusting to be in the space for the next few moments before bringing you back.

With that light still shining in your belly,

Transmuting anything that comes up,

Trusting that this inner light will continue to burn and exist within you just like it always has.

That spark of joy,

Of creation,

Of life.

So intending that that spark will make itself known to you in the days to come.

And the invitation for you to return to this meditation,

This guided process as many times as you need to,

Trusting that healing is happening for you.

So whenever you're ready,

You can come back to the space which you find yourself in,

Noticing the sounds,

Noticing the chair,

The bed beneath you,

And allowing yourself to awaken into this present moment once more.

Eyes opening,

Fingers and toes moving.
