Welcome and thank you for choosing to spend your time with me today.
It seems like the world is so full of so many opportunities to feel bad about ourselves that there really is a need to deliberately carve out some time in our day to remind ourselves of how much good we bring to the world,
To ourselves,
And to the people around us.
And so I wanted to spend some time together to help remind us of all those wonderful things that we are,
That you are.
So start in a seated position,
Feet firmly pressed on the ground,
Feeling your sitting bones on the surface that's supporting you,
And hands either lightly resting downward on your lap or upward,
Sky-facing on your lap.
Spine long,
Crown extended to the sky.
Take a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
Shoulders relaxed down.
And one more.
Deep breath in,
And deep breath out.
And we're going to move into a practice where we remind ourselves of all that we are.
Breathing in,
Saying,
I am.
Exhaling,
Saying,
Peaceful.
I am calm.
I am intelligent.
I am grounded.
I am creative.
I am loving.
I am loved.
I am grateful.
I am peaceful.
I am growing.
I am kind.
I am sacred.
And take another deep breath in,
And deep breath out.
And settle into the feeling of gratitude for all that we are,
And all that we bring to the world.
I hope that this short meditation has provided you with a little extra peace and love for yourself and the world around you in your day.
