Sometimes the pressure,
Sometimes the pressure feels larger than the moment,
Larger than the room,
Larger than what is actually happening.
It fills the mind,
It fills the body.
It starts to define how everything is experienced.
And when that happens,
The tension narrows,
The body tightens,
The breath becomes shallow.
So if the pressure feels overwhelming,
That does not mean the situation is impossible.
It may mean the pressure has become the center of your awareness.
And when something becomes the center,
Everything else fades,
Including the space around you.
So instead of trying to remove the pressure,
Shift what you are inside of.
Let the room become visible again,
Just enough to exist alongside the pressure,
The walls,
The air,
The space around your body.
The fact that you are here,
Not only inside a thought,
But inside a physical place.
You do not need to shrink the pressure.
Feel your body in the room,
Your position in space.
Let the room become slightly more real than the pressure.
This creates distance.
And from that distance,
The pressure can begin to take up less space.
Inside the room,
Inside your body,
Inside something that is not only the pressure.
And let this be the shift.
The pressure is still here,
But it is no longer the whole environment.
From here,
You can continue with more space,
With more freedom.
