Relax with this visualization to help you let go of worries and stress and soar above it all. Visualizations include letting your worries fly away and learning to fly yourself. You will unburden the weight and return to discover a gift to bring into your day.

Welcome to this guided visualization to let go of worries and stress.

I invite you to take a deep breath and let it go.

There's nothing to do for the next few minutes except to be here right now.

One more deep breath and let it go.

Now you will see in front of you a chalkboard.

And on this chalkboard,

Write down everything that's stopping you from being present right now.

Just fill it up.

And once your chalkboard is full,

You'll see a nice big eraser.

And go ahead and erase all those things until you see a clean slate in front of you.

Now walk away from the chalkboard and you'll find yourself at the bottom of a hill.

And at the bottom of this hill is a backpack filled with your worries and stresses.

Leave an offering at the bottom of the hill and thanks for the soon ability to let go of all these worries and stresses.

Now put on that backpack and you can feel the weight and climb up that hill.

While the backpack is heavy,

The view is beautiful.

The sky is blue.

The breeze supports you.

You can hear an ocean in the distance.

Birds fly by and encourage you.

And the trees are waving their limbs to encourage you.

And when you reach the top of that hill,

Take off the backpack and feel the lightness.

Now unzip this pack and toss each worry out over the side of the cliff.

And watch each worry grow wings and fly away,

Knowing that it's taking care of itself.

Watch your backpack get emptier and emptier as your worries turn into birds and fly away.

You too can fly.

Take two or three steps.

Spread your arms.

Feel them become wings and soar above your cares.

Let the air currents hold you.

As you fly over trees and ocean,

Other birds fly alongside you.

Take all the time you want in this freedom.

And when you're ready,

Gently circle down.

Let the air hold you as you do it.

Back down to the bottom of the hill where you left that original offering.

And when you land solidly on your two feet,

You will find a gift waiting for you in exchange for your offering.

Notice what that gift is and what it's giving you and telling you.

This gift is just for you.

And when you're ready,

Tuck that gift into your pocket or into your heart,

Knowing that you can return to it again and again.

And when you're ready to come back into the room,

You can wiggle your fingers and toes and take a deep breath and let it go and move forward into your day a little bit lighter.
