Hello there and a good morning to you lovely soul.

It's okay you don't need to move just yet.

You can stay right where you are if you're cozy,

Half awake,

Wrapped up in lovely blankets.

This time this morning is just for you.

A few moments to breathe before the world around you begins to ask for your attention.

Let this morning meet you slowly.

Let yourself arrive in a day without rush or without pressure.

Simply arrive today by breathing.

Notice the rhythm of your breath now.

The rise and fall of your chest.

Calm,

Gentle and easy.

Each inhale brings new life and each exhale releases what you no longer need from yesterday.

It's okay there's nowhere else to be right now.

Nothing to fix and nothing to prove.

It's just you resting in the quiet joy of being alive.

Now see if you can begin to notice all your senses waking up to.

Perhaps you can hear birdsong outside or the soft hum of traffic morning around you.

Maybe the air feels cool against your skin or your covers feel warm and familiar.

Every single small detail is a gentle reminder.

You are here my friend,

In this body.

How amazing is that?

In this beautiful life.

If there's any light in the room,

Morning sun,

Overcast cloudy daylight or a soft glow through your bedroom curtains.

Imagine that light is touching you kindly.

Allow it to warm your face,

Your chest and your heart.

Because it's the world's quiet way of saying to you this morning,

Welcome back sleepyhead.

Now take a deeper breath in.

Imagine you are breathing in sunlight.

Golden,

Bright and full of life.

Really feel it fill up your lungs spreading through your chest,

Down your arms into every single cell.

And as you exhale,

Imagine you are releasing all that is heavy.

Any worries,

Tiredness or tension.

Let them all just melt effortlessly into the air around you.

Again,

Breathe in light and breathe out what no longer belongs to you today.

With each breath you feel that you grow a little lighter,

A little brighter,

A little more ready for this brand new day ahead.

Now gently place a hand over your heart and feel its rhythm.

Steady,

Constant,

Loyal.

Your heart beats for you without asking anything in return.

Whisper quietly inside your mind,

I am so grateful for another day.

I choose to meet this morning with such an open heart.

Let those words ripple through you.

Hear them as gentle truths.

You are allowed to begin softly.

You are allowed to start again.

Every single morning is a fresh new beginning.

Now imagine yourself stepping into the day ahead.

See the light pouring through the window.

Feel your feet touch the floor and they are steady and they are grounded.

Sense yourself smiling,

Calm,

Ready,

And alive.

Whatever the day brings for you,

You can return to this feeling of warmth,

Gratitude and peace because you carry it with you like a quiet sun that never sets.

Okay,

Let's take one last deep breath in together now.

Fill yourself with light,

Love and hope.

And as you breathe out,

Smile softly and think,

Today I begin again.

When you're ready,

Stretch and open your eyes and say hello and greet your day.

Wow. This was the perfect morning meditation for me. Usually I have to turn around in my chair because the sun shines through the window so brightly that it’s blinding. This morning I faced the morning with the sun in my face and felt the warmth of a new day. All worries sadnesses from the day before left behind. Thank you 🙏
