Welcome to this full moon meditation.
The full moon marks the peak of the lunar cycle,
A time of heightened energy and illumination.
It's a powerful moment to pause and reflect on the areas of our lives that may no longer support our highest good,
Whether it's a limiting belief,
An emotion that we've been ruminating on,
Or a situation that's been blocking our path forward.
By letting go of these things,
We make room for new possibilities,
Fresh intentions and growth,
Creating space for the next phase of our journey.
This release helps us move forward with greater ease,
Allowing the energy of the moon to guide us into the new cycle with openness and grace.
Take some time to settle in and get comfortable,
Either seated or lying down.
And if you haven't already,
You can gently close your eyes now.
Connect with the natural rhythm of your breath,
Noticing your chest slowly rise and fall.
This meditation can be done at any moment of the lunar cycle,
At any time you feel called to release something.
So,
Whether there's a full moon right now or not,
I'd like you to visualize a beautiful,
Bright full moon in a clear night sky.
The silvery moonlight shines over you in illumination and protection as you give yourself permission to come undone in this moment,
Like gently pulling on a shoelace to release the knot.
The energy of the moon supports you,
Gently guiding you like the pull of a tide,
Softening the edges of your thoughts,
Your body and your being.
Allow the muscles in your arms and legs to soften and let go.
Release any tightness in your belly,
Your chest and your back.
Move your attention to your neck and your face.
Relax those areas now,
Softening any remaining tension.
Your body is fully supported and you're free to simply rest in this moment,
Allowing the release to deepen with every exhale.
Feel the energy of the moon all around you,
Like an invisible blanket.
As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,
Take a moment to notice if there's something within you that feels misaligned with the rest of your being.
Something that no longer serves your highest good.
It could be a belief,
An emotion,
Or a situation you've been holding onto.
The things we feel called to release are often things that once served us but no longer do.
They may have helped us grow or protected us at some point,
But their time has passed and as you invite whatever needs to be released to the surface,
Honor the experience and knowledge it brought into your life.
When you're ready,
Give yourself permission to let it go.
On an inhale,
Breathe in the moonlight,
Letting it fill your lungs with cleansing energy.
And when you exhale,
Release what needs to be released with a silent thank you.
Connect with the natural rhythm of your breath now,
Noticing your chest slowly rise and fall.
Feel the space you've created through your release.
You've cleared the path forward,
Gently making room to allow what's next to flow in with ease and openness.
You can stay in this meditation for as long as you need,
And whenever you're ready to come out,
Do so gently and with loving care.
Thank you for trusting me to guide you.
