Welcome to this guided meditation for deep restorative sleep.

Before we begin,

Make sure your surroundings support your transition into rest.

Turn off the lights,

And if you've lit any candles,

Gently blow them out.

Find a comfortable position lying on your back,

Your legs naturally extended and gently apart.

Let your arms rest by your sides.

Welcome any last little movements or adjustments that will help you achieve ultimate comfort.

And when you're ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Notice any sounds around you.

They may be distant coming from outside or closer from within the room or the house.

Don't focus too hard on identifying the sounds.

Simply allow your ears to hear them.

Now bring your attention to the sound of your breath.

There's no need to change your breathing in any way.

Simply listen to the natural rhythm of your breath as it's happening to you.

We now begin to gently rotate your awareness through the different parts of your body.

Allow your attention to move effortlessly from one area to the next,

Bringing a sense of presence and relaxation to each part.

Bring your awareness to your right hand.

Feel a wave of relaxation spreading across your fingers,

The palm of your hand,

The back of your hand,

Your wrist,

And shoulder.

Down the right side body,

Pelvis,

Back of your thigh,

Calf muscle,

The sole of your right foot,

The top of your foot.

Cross all your toes.

Sweep your awareness to your left hand now.

Feel the tension in your left hand.

Feel a wave of relaxation spreading across your fingers to the palm of your hand,

The back of your hand,

Wrist,

And shoulder.

Down the left side body,

Pelvis,

Back of your thigh,

Calf muscle,

Ankle,

Sole of your left foot,

Top of your foot.

Across all your toes.

The crown of your head,

Your forehead,

Eyebrows,

The center of your brows,

The muscles around your eyes,

Chest,

Abdomen,

Middle back,

Upper back,

The back of your neck,

The back of your head.

Feel the steady support of the surface beneath you inviting you to let go completely.

Visualize yourself standing at the top of a staircase,

Each step bathed in the warm flickering glow of candles delicately placed in the corners.

Their soft light casts a golden path ahead,

Inviting you to descend.

The air around you feels inviting,

Carrying a hint of warmth and the faint scent of firewood.

As you slowly descend step by step,

You begin to feel the warmth of the air around you.

Feel the warmth emanating from the room at the bottom of the stairs.

Reaching the last step,

You make your way into the space.

Around you are the most perfect spots to rest.

Thick blankets,

Oversized cushions,

Beautiful rugs of all different colors and sizes,

And deep comfortable sofas.

You take your time to explore each cozy area as the fireplace in the corner illuminates the space with a soft amber glow.

As you wander through the room,

You are naturally drawn to the perfect spot.

Settling into your sanctuary for the night,

You feel completely supported,

As if the space itself is cradling you in peace and safety.

The fire's warmth wraps around you like a blanket.

There is nothing left for you to do but let go completely and let yourself drift into the deepest sleep.
