In this meditation, we focus on activating the Manipura chakra (solar plexus) through intentional breathing and Surya Mudra, also known as the Gesture of the Sun. Surya Mudra is performed by gently folding the ring finger toward the base of the thumb and lightly pressing it with the thumb. This gesture stimulates the fire element, increasing internal heat, energy, and vitality. Surya Mudra directs energy to the solar plexus, activating and energizing this center of personal power and will. Acting like a lock, it prevents your energy from dissipating. By containing and focusing this energy, it concentrates it in the solar plexus, allowing you to tap into your inner power more effectively. When combined with mindful breathing, this mudra deepens your connection to your strength, helps release self-doubt, and restores balance to the body’s energy system.
