Aloha little dreamer and welcome back to Mana's tropical world.
A place where you're safe and cherished.
All you have to do is find a cosy and comfortable place.
Relax and focus on the sound of my voice.
I'm here to guide you.
Snuggle into your favorite little blanket and let your body get warm and comfy.
Now,
Take a slow breath in through your nose and gently blow it out through your mouth.
Very good.
Let's do one more.
In.
Your arms feel heavy.
Your legs feel soft.
You can close your eyes and let them rest.
Tonight,
We're going on a brand new adventure.
Are you ready?
Once upon a time,
In a place that only the bravest little dreamers could find,
There was a park unlike anything in the whole wild world.
It was called the Magical Wonder Park.
And it could only be reached one special way.
By closing your eyes,
Taking one big and deep belly breath.
And most importantly,
Believing in yourself.
So let's go.
Breathe in slowly once again.
And out through your mouth.
And there it is.
A pair of giant golden gates appear before you.
Covered in colorful flowers and glowing lights.
The gates open slowly and just for you.
A warm breeze drifts out and wraps around your shoulders like a hug.
You step inside and your eyes go wide.
There are spinning teacups that sparkle like diamonds.
A sky full of rainbow flags rippling in the wind.
And the smell of warm cinnamon and fresh popcorn floating through the air.
And the sound of laughter.
And music.
And soft bells.
And right at the entrance,
There's a little sign.
You lean in to read it.
It says,
This park is for brave ones.
And you little dreamer,
You are already brave.
You smile.
You take a breath.
And you walk in.
The first thing you see is the most beautiful carousel you have ever laid eyes on.
It glows in soft gold and rose pink.
The horses are in regular horses.
Each one is a magical animal.
There's a white horse with a flowing mane of stars.
A gentle lion with golden crown.
A kind dragon with wings made of flower petals.
A proud little elephant wearing a crown of rainbow ribbons.
And right in the middle,
One animal is waiting just for you.
It's your favorite.
Soft and warm and glowing.
You walk toward it.
Your heart flutters a tiny bit.
Because the carousel is moving.
And it looks a little fast.
You stop for a moment.
You feel something in your tummy.
That fluttery,
Wiggly feeling.
Do you know what that feeling is?
That's courage waking up inside you.
Courage doesn't mean you're not nervous.
Courage means you do the thing even when your tummy goes wobbly.
You breathe in slowly.
And you take one step.
And then another.
And another.
And you reach out your hand.
You hold onto the pole.
You climb up onto your magical animal.
And you sit tall.
And the carousel begins to move.
And oh,
It is so wonderful.
The world spins gently around you.
All colors and sparkles and soft music.
You can feel the wind on your cheeks.
You feel yourself smiling.
Your heart feels big.
You did it.
You felt nervous.
And you did it anyway.
That is what courage looks like.
Take a deep breath in.
And feel that courage filling up your chest.
Hold it.
And breathe it out slowly.
Well done.
As the carousel slows down and you hop off,
You see something amazing across the path.
A tiny train.
It's painted in every color of the rainbow.
Red at the front.
Orange behind it.
Then yellow,
Green,
Blue,
And purple.
Little puffs of silvery smoke float up into the sky like tiny clouds.
A cheerful conductor waves at you from the front.
Room for one more brave adventurer,
She calls.
You look around and you realize you are the brave adventurer.
She's talking to you.
You point at yourself.
She nods with a big smile.
And you climb aboard.
The train whistles and slowly begins to move.
It winds through a tunnel of blossoming trees.
Pink petals float down and land softly on your hands.
You travel over a bridge and below you,
A shimmering river catches the sunlight like scattered diamonds.
Then the train climbs a gentle hill.
Higher and higher.
You can see the whole wonder park spread out below you.
All the lights.
All the colors.
All the people laughing.
The conductor leans back and says,
You know what?
The view is so beautiful from up here.
Because you were brave enough to climb.
You look out at everything shimmering below and something warm blooms in your chest.
Pride.
That's what that feeling is called.
Proud.
You are proud of yourself.
And that feeling belongs to you.
Nobody can take that away from you.
Take a long,
Slow breath in.
Feel that pride sitting right in the middle of your chest.
Warm like sunshine.
Hold it.
And breathe it out.
Keep that warmth there.
It's yours.
And the train pulls into the next station and you step off into a soft meadow.
Right in the center is a big,
Round tent.
It's striped in gold and cream with tiny fairy lights twinkling all around the top.
Above the entrance,
A curtain of ribbons parts to let you in.
Inside the tent,
It is quiet.
Soft.
Magical.
The floor is covered in the softest grass you've ever felt.
Little glowing lanterns hang from above.
Each one a different color.
And in the very middle of the tent,
There's a mirror.
Not a regular mirror.
A magic one.
You walk toward it slowly.
You look in.
And you see yourself.
But this time,
You see something different.
Around your reflection,
Tiny glowing words are floating.
Let's read them together.
Brave.
Kind.
Curious.
Strong.
Loving.
Creative.
Special.
These aren't made-up words.
These are true.
These are who you really are.
The mirror doesn't show your clothes or hair.
It shows your heart.
And your heart is full of beautiful things.
Now,
I want you to do something.
Put one hand on your heart.
Feel it beating softly.
That heart has been beating for you every single second of every single day.
Working so hard.
Never stopping.
Never giving up.
Your heart is brave too.
Breathe in slowly.
And say inside your mind,
Or out loud if you like,
I am brave.
Breathe in again.
I am proud of me.
One more breath in.
I am enough.
Just as I am.
Those words are true.
They always have been.
And they always will be.
As you step out of the tent,
The sky above the wonder park begins to change.
It goes from a soft pink to a deep velvety blue.
Like the night sky just before bedtime.
And all around the park,
Little lanterns begin to float up into the sky.
One.
Two.
Five.
A hundred.
They float up like slow,
Quiet wishes.
And then.
.
.
The first firework bursts open above you.
Gold and silver.
And pink.
It lights up your face.
You can feel the little whoomp in your chest.
More fireworks follow.
Yellow.
Green,
Like a forest.
Blue,
Like the ocean.
Red,
Like a warm fire.
Each one more beautiful than the last.
And Luna.
Do you remember Luna?
Now she appears.
But she's not a star sprite anymore here.
She's the little girl who runs the lantern stand.
She holds out a lantern to you.
In close,
Soft gold.
This one is yours,
She says.
It's for everything you did today.
Every brave step.
Every wobbly moment.
Every time you kept going.
You take it in,
In both hands.
It feels warm.
Light.
Magic.
Now,
Let it go.
She smiles.
And you lift your hands up.
And you let it go.
It rises.
Slowly.
Higher and higher.
Up past the fireworks.
Up past the clouds.
Up to the very top of the sky.
And when it gets there,
It turns into a star.
Your star.
It will be there every single night.
Whenever you feel nervous.
Whenever you feel wobbly.
Whenever you feel sad.
Or whenever you're about to do something brave.
Look up.
And it will be there.
Winking at you.
Reminding you.
You're brave.
You're proud.
You're wonderful.
The music of the Wonder Park plays softly around you.
The lights begin to dim.
Not because the magic is gone.
But because it is time to rest.
And you feel a gentle breeze at your back.
It's warm.
It wraps around you like arms.
Like a hug from the park itself.
Slowly your feet lift off the ground.
Not falling.
Floating.
Soft and light as a feather.
You drift up and up.
Over the golden gates.
Over the glowing lanterns.
Through a soft cloud that feels like the fluffiest blanket.
And then.
You're back in your cozy room.
Your warm bed.
Your safe place.
Only now you feel something different.
Your chest feels bigger.
Your heart feels brighter.
Your whole body is warm.
And soft.
And still.
Now little dreamer.
Take a last slow breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Feel your body sinking into your bed.
Your legs are heavy.
Your arms are warm.
Your heart is glowing softly.
Just like the lantern you sent up to the sky.
You have the same light inside you.
The power to try even when you're nervous.
The power to feel proud of every small brave step.
The power to look in the mirror and know what you see is wonderful.
As you drift off to sleep tonight.
Imagine your little star up in the sky twinkling.
Just for you.
Now my little dreamer.
It's time to rest.
Drift off to sleep.
Feeling safe and loved.
Knowing that you have the power within you to be a hero in your own way.
