Welcome to today's meditation.

My name is Leena and I'll be guiding you through an end of day unwinding meditation.

You can begin lying down comfortably,

Maybe it's on your bed or seated if you prefer and just allow your eyes to close and allow your body to settle,

Making any adjustments here,

Whatever you need to do to get comfortable.

And start to take a slow,

Easy breath in and let it sigh out.

Let your shoulders drop down a little heavier and just allow your body to know that the day is done,

That you are here now.

Gently bring your attention to the day that you've just lived without judgment,

Without overthinking.

Just allowing it to play like a short,

Silent film and starting from the moment you woke up,

Moving through each scene,

Each interaction and just allowing it to pass smoothly like watching clouds drift by.

And everything that has happened that has brought you to this moment,

Here and now.

And just take that whole reel of the day,

Imagine placing it in a small box,

Closing the lid,

Letting it go.

You can come back to it tomorrow if you need to,

But for now it can rest and so can you.

And start to notice the weight of your body laying on the surface beneath you or feeling the points of contact of your sit bones if you are in a seat.

And feel the space between the eyebrows seem to soften,

Feel the muscles of the face relax.

And just let your eyes roll back into the skull,

Release your jaw and let the tongue rest easy.

And feel your shoulders relaxed and your back relaxed,

The arms resting heavy and the belly nice and soft.

Feeling your hips sink down,

Hip bones heavy,

Legs relaxed and feet relaxed.

And if any thoughts pop up,

That's okay.

Just allow them to drift in and drift out.

And breath in through the nose and remind yourself you've done enough and this moment is simply yours.
