Welcome to this evening meditation designed to help you calm your mind before bed.

This is your time to release the day,

To let go of any lingering thoughts,

And to allow your body and mind to settle into peace.

Find a comfortable position,

Either lying down or seated.

Let your body fully relax,

Feeling the support of the surface beneath you.

This is your space to rest.

There's nothing you need to do except be here now.

Gently bring to your mind any thoughts that are still lingering,

Conversations,

Tasks,

Worries.

See them appear like a small cloud in the sky of your mind.

There is no need to judge them or push them away.

Simply observe.

Now imagine a soft breeze flowing through,

Gently moving each cloud away from you.

One by one,

They drift off into the distance,

Dissolving into the vastness of the sky.

Feel the space that is left behind,

Open,

Clear,

And light.

You are releasing the weight of the day.

You're inviting calm and stillness to take its place.

Repeat silently,

I release the day,

I welcome peace.

Now turn your awareness inward.

Visualize a soft,

Warm light beginning to glow in the center of your chest.

This represents peace,

Stillness,

And rest.

With every gentle moment that passes,

Let this light expand,

Moving through your body,

Settling in your mind.

Feel it soften any tension,

Ease,

And restlessness.

Let it fill you entirely with tranquility.

Repeat silently,

I am at peace,

My mind is calm,

I am ready to rest.

As we close this meditation,

Take a moment to appreciate the calm you've created.
