Take a moment to arrive.
Not rushing,
Not forcing,
Just arriving here.
Let the body settle.
Feel where you are supported.
And allow the breath to begin to lengthen.
Gently.
Naturally.
There are moments when something begins to shift.
Not fully formed.
Not fully known.
But undeniable.
Something within the field of your life has begun to reorganize itself.
A threshold has appeared.
You are no longer where you have been and not yet fully what you are becoming.
You are standing within the passageway between.
Between what has been.
And what is still becoming.
Between identities,
Ways of moving.
Ways of knowing.
These liminal spaces,
The spaces between,
Are not empty.
They are living thresholds.
Places where awareness reorganizes itself quietly from within.
The old ways of moving.
Thinking.
Holding yourself,
Begin to loosen.
Something can no longer remain organized in the old way.
Even if you cannot yet fully name it.
And something else is beginning to emerge quietly,
Steadily,
Inevitably.
This is the nature of initiation.
Not a sudden transformation,
But a crossing.
A gradual reorientation of body,
Breath,
Awareness,
And way of being.
And often,
There is,
In the headchair,
A hesitation.
A moment where part of you wants to remain where it has been.
Let that be your.
.
.
Without judgment.
Without resistance.
You do not need to force the crossing.
You only need to be willing to remain present within it.
Trust what is unfolding,
Even before you fully understand it.
This is where ritual becomes an ally.
Not to rush transformation,
Not to demand clarity before it arrives.
But to accompany the crossing.
With steadiness.
With presence,
With grace.
If your charcoal is not yet lit,
This is the moment to ignite it.
Allow it to fully catch,
To spark.
To begin to ash over.
Take your time.
And if your coal is already prepared,
Continue following the sound of my voice.
Letting yourself arrive more fully here.
As you sit here,
Begin to notice what feels ready to fall away.
Not analyzing,
Just sensing.
Old patterns,
Old identities.
Ways of moving that no longer hold.
And at the same time,
Notice what is beginning to gather beneath the surface.
Not fully formed.
But present.
Of becoming.
Already in motion.
Now gently place your first pinch of resin onto the coal.
As the resin meets the heat,
A warm vapor begins to rise.
At first it is luminous.
Luminous blossoming citrus petals.
Ambrosial dew rising.
Golden alpine light opening through the atmosphere.
The air widening like a window,
Allowing space to move through the room.
The atmosphere softens the nervous system.
Begins to settle.
Let yourself receive it.
The breath.
No effort.
You do not need to know the full path ahead,
Only this breath,
This moment,
This crossing Now offer another small pinch of resin to the coal.
As it meets the heat,
Something deeper begins to emerge.
A soft forest appearing in the room.
Silken evergreen.
A breath of forest honey.
Warmth gathering beneath the brightness.
Resonance glow,
Velvet blonde wood open.
And held.
You may begin to feel a steadiness here,
A quiet support moving beneath the experience,
As if something ancient understands how to move through change.
The resins know how to do this.
For thousands of years,
They have accompanied moments of passage,
Births,
Deaths,
Initiations,
Transformations.
Not forcing transformation.
But helping the body,
Breath,
And awareness move in relationship with it.
They mark the crossing.
They hold the threshold.
They come back.
Now offer another pinch of resin.
As it blooms,
Notice the quality of the field around you,
Luminous and grounded,
Expansive and held.
A space where transformation can unfold.
Without force.
There is strength here,
Not rigid.
Not Armored.
But deeply steady.
A radiant and reliable presence for moments of transition,
Large and small,
Inner and outer,
Above and below.
A resilience that does not resist change,
But learns how to move with it.
You may begin to sense the threshold more clearly now.
Not as something ahead of you,
But as something you are already within.
This initiation is already in motion.
You are not approaching transformation,
You are already participating within it.
With each breath,
Something releases.
With each breath,
Something reorganizes.
With each breath,
Something arrives.
Let yourself move with that rhythm.
Gently.
Steadily.
The body adjusting.
The nervous system reorganizing.
Awareness reshaping itself around what has already become true.
You do not need to become someone else.
You are becoming more fully aligned with what life is already asking of you.
Stay here for a moment,
Within the movement,
Within the becoming.
Notice what feels different.
Even subtly.
The way you are meeting this moment.
The way you are standing within uncertainty.
The way you can continue forward without needing to complete certainty to move.
This is initiation.
Not something given from outside of you,
But something awakened through conscious participation with the deeper movement of life itself.
As the resin continues to softly bloom.
Allow this experience to settle into the body.
What is ready to fall away can release.
Not only as insight but as lived experience.
What is ready to emerge can continue to take shape.
Right here.
The crossing.
Becoming.
Between what has been and what is still unfolding.
Between the known and the unseen.
Between the self you have inhabited and the life already beginning to emerge through you.
These liminal spaces,
The spaces between,
Are not empty.
They are living thresholds,
Places of reorientation.
Places where awareness reshapes itself quietly from within.
Feel the body again.
The breath within you.
The ground beneath you.
Notice how you meet this moment now.
Not exactly as you were before.
A tapestry of starlight,
The scent of becoming,
Lingering softly within the field.
Not only around you.
But within you.
Something within you now knows how to move differently.
And as you return.
May this becoming continue unfolding gently through the way you walk,
The way you listen,
The way you meet the world around you.
Step forward slowly.
Carry this awareness with you.
Return to ritual.
