This meditation enables the unification of your Higher Self with the human personality. In other words, it helps you to connect to Universal Love and prevents any low-frequency interference. It also works on relaxing the 'hypothalamic fight or flight emotions' which are related to fear and rage: anxiety, depression, helplessness, being exposed, inferiority, bitterness, complaining, demanding, envy, resentment, intolerance, hatred, jealousy, gossiping, sarcasm, unforgiving. Our meditation works on you getting a good full restorative sleep - stage 3* of the sleep process. The three stages: 1. For the first few minutes of relaxing, you go into a light sleep which is when your brain slows to theta wave level. 2. A slightly deeper sleep then occurs lasting around 50% of the whole sleep time. 3.* A deep sleep follows stage 2 which is when your brain slows down to delta waves. Stage 3 normally only lasts 20% of your whole sleep time. Stage 3 is when the restoration and rebuilding occur.

Listen to the music to help you relax,

Get into a comfortable sleeping position,

Maybe you want to curl up or perhaps you just want to be sprawled out in any way that suits you.

Light is key,

Imagine you are lying on several thick blankets,

So soft that you don't feel like anything is below you,

So soft you feel like you are floating on a cloud,

Let go of everything that is going to happen tomorrow,

As you let go you are releasing your concerns to the universe,

You are asking the universe to support and guide you,

Let go of everything that happened today,

Connect with the power of the universe,

The universe supports you,

Let go of everything that happened yesterday,

The universe guides you,

Let go of everything that happened this week and the time before that,

You are working with the universe now,

There is no need for your mind to hold on to anything right now,

Allow yourself to disconnect mentally from everything,

Let everything go now,

Your intention is to gain a relaxing and restorative sleep so that when you wake up you will feel refreshed and full of energy tomorrow,

Repeat the intention with me in your mind over and over again,

Now take a deep breath in and hold your breath for 8 seconds,

Take another deep breath in and this time hold it for 9 seconds,

Maybe you are already yawning,

Or you feel yourself already relaxing,

Take one more deep breath in and hold it for 10 seconds,

You become aware of a feeling of warmth surrounding your body,

It feels like you are being held by fluffy cotton wool,

Softly and comfortably embracing your whole body,

Visualize yourself walking along a dusty road,

You arrive to a gate,

Open the gate and walk through,

Find yourself in a wonderful healing forest,

There is a path leading into the forest and on the path is a very large gentle brown bear,

He has been waiting for you and you can sense he is smiling softly when he sees you,

Step onto the path and walk into the forest with bear,

As you both connect you sense bear has a very gentle nature and very keen to protect you,

You arrive to an opening in the forest,

In the opening is a large fluffy white rug with white cushions and white blankets,

Go there and lie down,

Wrap yourself up with the blanket,

Bear comes and lays beside you,

When bear does this his energy surrounds you,

Invite the energy of bear to be absorbed by you,

Bears love to sleep,

They relax deeply and always have a great sleep,

Allow bear to show you how to sleep well,

Remember you will have a relaxing and restorative sleep tonight,

Towards the end of the music when you may already be asleep you will hear some rattling,

The rattling will trigger an automatic return to home response,

Without thinking or waking you will automatically leave the open space in the forest with bear,

Walk together back along the path and through the gate,

You will take a few steps on the dusty road and then you will return to your body where you are lying sleeping and bear will continue to snuggle next to you holding you and providing you with gentle comfort,

Peace and protection.
