Welcome to the Power Animal Meditation.

This guided journey falls in the balance category.

With this meditation you will go on a shamanic journey to connect with one of your power animals.

Our animals are spirit guides who show themselves to us in animal form.

They offer us guidance,

Support and protection helping us to feel balanced in our lives.

So begin by taking a few relaxing breaths.

Breathing out stress and tension and tightness and breathing in beautiful healing energy.

And now scan your body from top to toe scanning and relaxing each part of your body.

Focus first on the back of your head.

Check how it feels and then make a conscious decision to relax it.

Now your forehead.

How does it feel?

Now your complete face,

Your eyes,

Your cheeks,

Your jaw.

Relaxing each part.

Moving down to your neck and shoulders.

Are they tense?

Do they feel still?

Harrying a lot of stress?

Allow them to relax now.

Check your arms.

Relaxing as you check all the way down.

Hands and your fingers.

And now scan your back.

Upper,

Middle and lower.

Check your spine,

Each vertebrae.

Relaxing the whole part of your back.

Feeling yourself melting into the ground.

And now check in on your chest.

Your heart,

Your lungs.

Scanning these areas first.

How do they feel?

Are you breathing evenly and calmly?

Is your heart relaxed?

Relax now.

Breath itself is a very powerful healing tool.

It provides oxygen to our blood.

Which in turn nourishes our body.

So any tightness you're feeling,

Any stubborn tightness,

Pull it out with your breath.

Breathing in,

Holding on to that pain.

And then pulling it out with your out breath.

We've now reached the abdominal area.

Allowing every organ to relax.

Feel yourself sinking further into deep relaxation.

Moving down to your pelvic area.

Your core,

Your sacral and root chakra.

Allowing this area to relax.

Now moving down to your legs.

Each muscle being relaxed.

All the way down.

Finally reaching your feet and toes.

Let them flop to the sides.

As they relax.

And now take your time and do the scan on your own.

Starting from the top all the way down once more.

You are feeling very relaxed now.

And very calm.

You are feeling relaxed and ready for the journey.

Your body feels heavy and your spirit feels light.

You feel so light now that you are floating.

Rising above your physical body.

Staying in the room you are in.

Floating now towards one of the corners of the room.

Go there and go through.

In front of you now is a beautiful old tree.

Go to that tree.

Look down,

Look at the roots.

Do you see there is a hole?

Start climbing down the roots of the tree.

Yes,

Just like Alice in Wonderland.

Start climbing down,

Going deeper and deeper.

You are completely safe,

This is an adventure.

As you travel down the roots are becoming thinner and thinner.

You see a hole and jump into the hole.

You feel yourself dropping in free fall.

You feel great here just like a child enjoying the adventure.

You are travelling at fast speeds but it feels like everything is going in slow motion.

You are completely in control.

You now see a tube similar to the ones you find in water parks.

Jump into the tube.

Now jump into another tube.

Maybe you are choosing the tubes by their colour or size.

You are moving fast again,

Travelling deeper and deeper.

You now arrive to a space and slow down.

You have arrived to a different realm.

A world we call our parallel universe.

Not controlled by time or space.

And now say your intention in this space.

My intention is to meet my power animal.

Say it three times and then wait and see what happens.

You may see parts of an animal.

Perhaps the eyes or part of its body.

When you see an animal more than three times that will be your power animal.

The one you need in your life at the moment.

When you know who it is,

Then connect with him or her.

Ask why he is needed in your life at the moment.

Keep yourself open to listening.

You will see what the guide is saying to you.

It may be through images,

Sounds,

Feelings.

Words or just an inner knowing.

If you are not seeing anything then travel deeper.

Jump into the tubes and go deeper.

And let the drumming take you there.

And now you have made a connection.

It's ok if you are not sure whether you did.

The information given will become clear when the time is right.

And so now it's time to travel back.

So jump into one of the tubes that you may recognize.

Feel yourself being pulled up.

Jumping from tube to tube.

You actually recognize the route.

It has already become familiar to you.

You are relaxed and feeling happy with the outcome.

You continue up,

Going at vast speed.

And then you feel yourself being catapulted through a hole,

Then another.

Yes,

They were the ones you passed through before.

You recognize them.

And now you see the beginnings of the roots of the tree that you climbed down.

Grab those roots and start climbing up.

Going higher and higher.

The roots are getting thicker and thicker as you near the tree.

Really feel that you are pulling yourself up now.

Arriving to the bottom of the tree,

Walk or float back into your room.

Through the corner of the room and float back into your body.

Take a deep breath in and out to anchor your mind,

Body,

Spirit and soul.

Breathe deeply into your body.

Becoming more aware of your physical self.

Every breath that you take now helps you to become more present.

You have connected to a power animal.

So now you have the animal support,

Guidance and protection.

All you need to do is ask him or her to be with you.

Feeling present now.

Feeling grounded.

Feeling connected.

And connected.
