Hello great soul,
It's so beautiful that you're here and taking time for yourself,
Taking time to slow yourself down,
To open up for yourself and letting that curiosity emerge to explore yourself.
For this following meditation,
I invite you to find a comfortable seated position where you can remain for the next 15 to 20 minutes.
Allow your body to settle here.
There's nowhere to go right now.
Nothing to achieve.
And nothing to accomplish right now.
Simply allow yourself to be here.
If you're not already done so,
You can now gently close your eyes or lower your gaze,
If that feels comfortable for you.
Now take one slow deep breath in.
And a long,
Easy breath out.
And again.
Breathing in.
.
.
And breathing out.
Then allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
And try to feel the air moving gently in and out.
Beautiful.
Now let's begin by noticing the simple experience of sitting here.
Try to feel the weight of your body and the contact with the cushion,
The chair or the floor beneath you.
Really try to sense the support underneath you.
You are being supported.
And I want you to rest with that feeling for a moment.
The simple sensation of being supported,
Sitting here,
Safe.
Beautiful.
Now gently bring your attention back to the breath.
There's no need to control it or improve it right now.
Just simply notice that breathing is already happening without any effort.
And remember that the body knows how to breathe.
The breath comes and the breath goes.
Try to be present with your breath.
And being present also means being curious about what is here.
Observing,
Listening,
Sensing.
And try to become curious about you,
Your whole system.
And right now,
Your breath.
And when thoughts are arising,
Try not to get caught in the stories they create.
And try to remember that it's completely natural for the mind to wander.
Just notice how often it moves.
Perhaps you can see that it's going into the future or in the past.
Into planning,
Remembering or imagining what comes next.
And there's absolutely no need to judge any of that.
Remember that the mind is simply doing what minds naturally do.
But each time you notice it,
That it has wondered.
Gently and with love guide your attention back to the breath.
You're doing great.
Now I'd like to invite you into a simple reflection.
This isn't something to answer intellectually,
But something to feel into.
What if,
For this moment,
Nothing needed to be different?
What if,
Just for this moment,
Nothing needed to be different?
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to improve.
Nothing to solve.
Simply being here.
Try to notice what arises.
When you have that reflection in mind.
Perhaps the mind immediately finds something unfinished,
Something missing.
Or something that should be different.
And I want you to simply notice that too,
With kindness.
Without needing to push anything away.
And as you continue resting in this reflection,
Allow the breath to move naturally.
Allows sounds to come and go.
And allow sensations to come and go.
There's nothing to hold on to and nothing to push away.
This moment is complete exactly as it is.
You're doing beautifully.
And I want you to remember that you can trust yourself.
That you already know how to let go.
How to let go of the need to understand.
To let go of the need to arrive anywhere.
You are already here.
Observing this body and mind.
Sitting.
Breathing.
Being.
And if you notice a sense of doing right now,
Maybe it's also quite subtle.
I invite you to gently release that.
And this may also sound simple,
Yet it can be one of the deepest practices.
I invite you to allow yourself to rest in that not doing.
Simply being here.
Beautiful.
Now very gently and slowly.
In your own time.
Begin to bring your awareness back to the body.
Try to feel the weight of your body once again.
Notice the contact with the ground beneath you.
Perhaps you can sense a subtle tingling in your hands.
Your feet.
Your chest or your belly.
Let's take one slightly deeper breath in.
And a slow breath out.
There's nothing you need to take away from this meditation.
Nothing to achieve here.
And also nothing to hold on to.
Perhaps simply carry a little more awareness with you into the rest of the day.
And with that in mind.
And in your own time,
Whenever you feel ready.
Begin to gently move your fingers and toes again.
And slowly,
If it feels right,
You can open your eyes and allow yourself to arrive back into the room.
And take a moment to thank yourself for taking this time today.
And remember,
Nothing needed to be different.
Not even you.
Thank you,
May you be well and big love to you.
