When Your Mind Keeps Saying 'I Should Have'
This meditation is designed to help quiet the repetitive “I should have” thoughts that can keep you stuck in regret and self-blame. You’ll be gently encouraged to recognize the difference between what you know now and what you knew when the situation actually occurred. Through calming breathwork and reflection, you’ll practice shifting from “I should have” toward the more compassionate thought, “I wish I had, and now I know.” This meditation helps you acknowledge painful experiences without using hindsight to punish yourself for the past. Allow yourself to carry the lessons forward while beginning to release the judgment and regret that no longer serve you.
