This meditation invites you to rest as the awareness that notices the breath, rather than focusing on the breath itself. You’ll begin by allowing the body to settle, then gently recognize the quality of awareness that is already present and aware of each inhale and exhale. Instead of directing attention, this practice shifts the seat of attention back into awareness itself. The breath is simply one of the experiences being known, arising and passing within a wider field. This meditation is part of a 30-day series designed to support a consistent daily practice, whether you are new to meditation or returning again. Nothing to hold onto. Just resting as the awareness that is already here.
