Your authentic self is not something you have to create or strive for.
It has always been within you,
Calm,
Wise,
Radiant and whole.
Sometimes the noise of daily life can make it difficult to hear that inner truth.
This meditation will guide you to a place where you can meet,
Remember and embody that authentic presence within.
Simply allow your intuition and imagination to guide you.
You may see images,
Sense feelings,
Hear words or simply rest in awareness.
Whatever arises is perfect for you at this moment.
Take a comfortable position.
Let your body relax fully,
Either sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes if it feels comfortable and bring your attention gently to your breath.
Inhale slowly,
Exhale fully.
With every breath,
Allow your body to soften,
Your mind to settle,
Your heart to open.
Notice the weight of your body on the surface beneath you.
Feel your feet,
Your hands,
Your back.
Let them relax.
Now I invite you to imagine yourself walking on a path.
A path that leads you closer to your authentic self.
As you walk,
You feel the ground beneath you and notice the beauty around you,
The colors,
The sounds.
As you walk,
Allow yourself to arrive at a space that feels perfectly aligned with who you are.
Take a moment to look around.
Notice the atmosphere,
The energy,
The details of this place.
What do you see?
What does this place look like?
In this space,
You can meet your authentic self.
It may appear as a radiant version of you,
A glowing presence,
A figure or simply a warm energy.
Take a moment to connect.
Notice how it feels to be in the presence of your true authentic self.
If you wish,
You may ask a question,
Receive a message or simply rest in this awareness.
There is no need to do anything.
Just allow the connection to unfold naturally.
Now gently draw this presence into your heart.
Feel the wisdom,
Love of your authentic self anchoring within you.
You are enough.
You are free to live as your true self.
Give thanks to your authentic self for your meeting,
For any messages received,
Knowing that you can return to this space anytime.
Your authentic self is always within you.
When you are ready,
Slowly return to the path and back to the present moment.
Feel the surface beneath you,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Take a few slow,
Rounding breaths.
Notice the sound around you and gently,
When it feels right,
Open your eyes.
