We live in a world that constantly measures our worth by what we produce,
How much we achieve,
How efficiently we move,
How quickly we respond.
We live in a world that tells us we must always do something,
Be productive,
Be efficient,
Be successful.
If we are not working,
Improving or moving forward,
We start to feel guilty.
We think we are lazy.
We think we are falling behind.
We think we are not enough.
But you are not a machine.
You are a human being.
Your body needs rest.
Your mind needs quiet.
Your heart needs space.
And yet the pressure continues.
Be better,
Do more,
Stay relevant,
Stay ahead.
Even rest becomes productive.
Rest so you can work better.
Recharge so you can achieve more.
But what if you are allowed to rest just because you are tired?
Rest is not weakness.
Rest is healthy.
Rest is wise.
You are allowed to slow down.
You are allowed to take breaks.
You are allowed to say not now.
Your value is not measured by how much you do.
Your value is not measured by how busy you are.
Your value is not measured by your results.
Your worth doesn't increase when you achieve and it doesn't decrease when you pause.
You are valuable even when you are still.
You are enough even when you are not achieving anything.
Right now,
In this moment,
You don't need to prove anything.
Take a slow breath in and breathe out gently.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your thoughts slow down.
You are allowed to be human.
Let this moment be simple,
Unproductive.
Let it be quiet.
Let yourself just be.
Right now,
In this moment,
You are enough.
Namaste.
