We are simply going to guide all that beautiful energy into focus.
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or laying down,
Whichever feels right for you.
If you need to adjust,
Do that now.
There is no rush.
When you are settled,
Allow your eyes to close and if thoughts come,
And they will,
That's perfectly fine.
Simply let them drift by.
Like clouds moving across the sky,
You don't need to follow them,
You just need to stay here,
With me.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely,
And a long breath out through your mouth,
Letting everything go.
And again,
Breathing in,
Each breath slowing,
Just a little more.
With every breath,
Your body is relaxing,
Your mind is beginning to quieten,
The background noise is starting to fade,
And you are arriving right here,
Right now.
I'd like you to imagine a warm golden light at the top of your head,
A soft glowing light.
Feel that warmth beginning to flow downward through your scalp,
Your forehead,
Releasing any tension there,
Your eyes softening,
Your jaw unclenching,
And shoulders melting.
The warmth continues down.
Notice how heavy and relaxed your hands feel,
Through every fibre of your body,
Growing heavier,
Softer,
From your knees,
Your calves,
All the way to the soles of your feet,
And the tips of your toes,
The golden warmth,
Filling you completely,
The entire body is now relaxed,
Your mind is growing quieter,
With every breath,
Softer,
Clearer,
More still.
I'm going to count down from 10 to 1,
With each number you will drift twice as deep into this beautiful state of calm,
Focus.
By the time I reach 1,
You will be deeply relaxed,
Open and ready to receive.

Your mind is strong,
Capable and powerful,
It knows how to direct its energy with precision.
When you sit down to work or to create,
Focus comes to you easily and naturally.
You find it easy to begin tasks,
You find it satisfying to complete them.
Distractions loose they pull over you.
You gently and effortlessly return your attention to what matters.
You are patient with yourself.
You are kind to yourself and because of this you flourish.
Every day your focus grows stronger.
