Welcome.
Find a position that feels comfortable enough for the next few minutes.
You can sit.
Lean back or lie down.
Let your hands rest where they fall naturally.
If closing your eyes feels comfortable,
You can do that now.
Otherwise,
Soften your gaze and let your attention stay connected to the room.
This practice is a chance to listen to your body through the seven primary chakra centers.
We are not looking for something wrong.
We are not trying to clear,
Repair,
Or force the body into a different state.
We are noticing.
The body can speak through warmth.
Pressure.
Tightness,
Tingling,
Movement,
Heaviness,
Openness,
Numbness,
Or almost nothing at all.
An emotion,
Image,
Memory,
Or word may appear.
Or it may not.
No correct experience is waiting for you.
For now,
Let curiosity be enough.
Begin by feeling the places where your body is already supported.
Notice the chair beneath you.
The bed beneath you.
Or the floor beneath your feet.
Let your weight be held.
You do not have to hold all of yourself up right now.
Bring some attention to the breath.
But do not change it yet.
Notice where breathing feels easiest today.
Maybe at the nose.
The throat.
The chest.
The ribs,
Or the belly.
Let the breath be ordinary.
Listen for a sound close to you.
Then,
Notice the sound farther away.
Feel your hands.
Feel your feet.
Let those points of contact remind you that you are here.
Take one easy breath in.
Let the exhale have a little more room without forcing it.
We will begin at the base of the body.
Bring your awareness to the base of the spine,
Pelvic floor,
Hips,
Legs,
And feet.
This is the root chakra.
Traditionally connected with grounding,
Stability,
Safety,
And belonging.
If imagery comes naturally to you.
You might imagine a deep,
Earthy red hue.
If not.
.
.
Stay with the sensation.
Notice what is actually present.
May be warm.
Coolness.
Pressure.
Heaviness,
Tension.
Tingling.
Restlessness,
Or maybe steadiness.
Maybe very little.
You do not have to give any of it meaning.
Notice whether one area feels more present than the other.
Left side.
Right side.
Center.
Or no clear difference.
Then without searching too hard.
Notice whether a feeling seems connected with this part of the body today.
Safety.
Uneasiness.
Strength.
Fear.
Groundedness.
Or something without a name.
Feel the support beneath you again.
For this moment.
I am here.
Now bring your awareness to the pelvis,
Lower abdomen,
Hips,
And lower back.
This is the sacral chakra,
Often connected with orange,
Water.
Feeling.
Movement,
Creativity.
Pleasure and emotional flow.
You don't need to make anything happen here.
Notice the physical qualities first.
Softness or holding.
Warmth or coolness.
Fluttering.
Hollowness.
Pressure.
Movement.
Stillness.
Let the body tell you what is here before the mind explains it.
If an emotion is already close,
Acknowledge it.
Tenderness.
Longing.
Shame.
Desire.
Creativity.
Or something you cannot quite name.
You do not have to work it out.
See if this part of the body can have just a little more room.
Nothing forced.
Just less holding.
Move your attention to the upper abdomen.
The stomach,
The diaphragm,
And the lower ribs.
This is the solar plexus chakra.
Traditionally connected with yellow.
Fire.
Will.
Agency.
Confidence,
And personal power.
Notice what the body is doing here.
Maybe the stomach feels soft.
Maybe it grips,
Churns.
It feels warm,
Cool.
Hollow or heavy.
Notice the ribs.
Open.
Somewhere in between.
Let the breath move through this part of the body without asking it to become deeper.
If a feeling travels with the sensation,
Let yourself notice it.
Frustration.
Anger.
Confidence.
Embarrassment,
Determination,
Or something harder to name.
You do not have to push it away.
Something is here.
I can make room for it.
Now bring your attention to the center of the chest.
The lungs,
The upper back,
The shoulders.
The arms and the hands.
This is the heart chakra.
Often represented by green and sometimes soft pink.
It is connected with love.
Compassion.
Connection.
Of grief,
Tenderness,
And openness.
Take your time here.
Notice what is present.
Not what you think should be present.
There may be warmth.
Pressure,
And ache.
Expansion.
Heaviness.
Fluttering.
Softness.
Emptiness or quiet.
Notice your shoulders.
Are they lifted?
Rounded forward,
Or resting easily.
Include the arms and the hands.
If there is an impulse to reach out.
Draw in,
Protect,
Hold,
Or rest.
No need to interpret that.
If an emotion comes forward.
Let it have some room.
Love,
Sadness,
Grief,
Loneliness,
Gratitude,
Joy,
Tenderness.
You do not need to make any of it leave.
If imagery feels supportive.
Imagine a soft green light around the chest.
Not clearing anything away.
Just creating a little more space.
Let your attention move to the throat,
Neck,
Jaw,
Mouth,
And tongue.
This is the throat chakra.
Traditionally connected with glue.
Communication,
Expression,
Truth,
And listening.
Feel the throat from the inside.
Tight.
Warm,
Cool,
Full.
Maybe there's pressure.
Or the feeling of a lump.
Then notice the jaw.
See if it works when it doesn't need to.
Maybe the body wants to swallow,
Sigh,
Yawn,
Speak,
Or stay completely still.
Let the impulse be information.
If something feels close to expression.
You do not have to force words around it.
And if nothing needs to be said.
That is welcome too.
Take one easy breath in.
If a natural sigh comes with the exhale,
Let it.
Move your awareness to the forehead,
Brow,
Temples.
Eyes,
And space behind the eyes.
This is the third eye chakra.
Often associated with indigo.
Awareness.
Insight.
Imagination.
Intuition and perspective.
Begin with sensation.
Pressure.
Tension,
Pulsing,
Warmth.
Coolness,
Eye strain,
Spaciousness,
Stillness.
Thoughts may keep coming,
Images,
Plans,
Questions,
Memories.
You do not have to follow every one.
The mind can think without you turning every thought into an assignment.
For a few moments,
Imagine sitting just behind the thoughts.
Watching,
Listening,
Sharing.
Letting them move.
Nothing needs solving right now.
Bring awareness to the crown of the head.
This is the crown chakra,
Often represented by violet or white and connected with awareness,
Meaning,
Connection,
And something larger than the thinking mind.
Notice what you feel here.
Warmth?
Coolness?
Lightness?
Pressure?
Stillness?
Or maybe nothing stands out.
Nothing needs to stand out.
Now.
Let your awareness widen.
Instead of saying only at the crown,
Begin sensing the whole body at once.
Head,
Chest,
Belly.
Pelvis.
Arms,
Hands,
Legs,
Feet.
One body.
Many sensations.
All happening inside the same moment.
Now,
Make one slow pass back through the body.
Do not hunt for the most comfortable place.
Do not look for something to fix.
Notice whether one area seems to ask for a little more attention.
Maybe it felt warmer.
Tighter.
Heavier.
More alive or more emotional.
Or just easier to notice.
Let your awareness rest there.
Start with the sensation.
How would you describe it without naming an emotion yet?
Tight.
Warm,
Cool.
Happy?
Fluttering?
Sharp,
Soft,
Dense.
Moving,
Still,
Numb,
Spacious?
Maybe none of those words fit.
Stay with what you can actually feel.
Does the sensation seem to have a shape or size?
Are the edges clear or soft?
Does it remain the same or shift while you notice it?
You are not trying to make it change.
You are learning what it's like to stay with yourself while something is present.
Now,
Ask quietly.
If this sensation had a feeling connected with it,
What might that feeling be?
Do not force an answer.
A word may come,
An image,
A memory,
A familiar feeling,
Or nothing at all.
Whatever comes is enough.
For a moment,
Imagine this part of the body isn't a problem to correct.
Maybe it's asking for attention rather than an answer.
You might ask.
What would feel supportive here?
More space.
Rest,
Movement.
Warmth,
Protection.
Expression.
Comfort.
Permission.
Or just acknowledgment.
If no answer comes.
That's OK.
You do not have to produce insight.
If it feels comforting,
Place a hand over this area or place one hand on your chest and one on your abdomen.
Feel the warmth of your own hands.
Let the breath move naturally around the sensation.
Do not force breath into the area.
Do not ask the sensation to disappear.
Give it room.
If these words feel right,
Let them move through you.
I notice you.
I am listening.
You do not have to change right now.
Now,
Move some of your attention to a place that feels neutral,
Steady,
Pleasant,
Or simply less intense.
Maybe the hands,
The feet.
The support beneath you,
The movement of the breath.
Rest there for a moment.
Then return gently to the area you were exploring.
And then back to the steadier place.
Notice that your attention can move.
You do not have to disappear into one sensation.
You do not have to become one emotion.
There is the part that feels intense,
And there is also support.
Breath,
Hands,
Feet,
The room.
More than one thing can be true at the same time.
Let your awareness widen again.
Feel the crown of the head,
The face,
The throat,
The chest,
The abdomen,
The pelvis,
The arms and hands,
The legs and feet.
Let the body be one whole experience,
Not seven separate places.
Some areas may feel open and others guarded.
Some quiet and others active.
You do not need everything to match.
Integration is not making the body perfectly calm.
It's staying present with your whole experience without needing one part to disappear.
Feel the breath.
Feel the support beneath you.
Listen again to the room.
Let yourself be here as you are.
Begin bringing small amounts of movement back into the body.
Move the fingers.
Wiggle the toes.
Maybe roll the shoulders or gently stretch.
Notice how you feel compared to when you began.
You may feel calmer,
Clearer,
Softer,
Or more spacious.
Or maybe not.
Neither response tells you whether the meditation worked.
The practice was the noticing,
The listening.
The willingness to stay present without immediately fixing what you found.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes or lift your gaze.
Give yourself a moment before moving on.
You do not have to hold on to whatever you experienced here.
Let the meditation end.
Trust that you can return to the body when you need to.
Notice.
Listen.
Make room.
And return.
Thank yourself for the practice today.
Thank you for listening.
And good day.
