Bring awareness to your heart space.
We ask that this moment be held in the highest vibration of love,
Truth,
Protection,
And light.
May only the energies aligned with the highest good be present here.
May each soul receive exactly what they are ready to receive in a way that is safe,
Grounded,
Supported,
And aligned.
May we remain grounded in our bodies,
Open in our hearts,
And connected to our own inner knowing.
As we begin,
May we allow the energy to move where it is needed,
Without force,
Without expectation,
And without attachment to an outcome.
You don't need to ask anything of yourself,
And you don't need to make anything happen.
Simply be here,
Breathe,
And allow.
Begin by allowing your breath to be exactly as it is.
There is nothing to fix and nothing to deepen.
Just notice the simple rhythm of inhale and exhale.
Notice the surface beneath you,
The places where your body is being held by the mat,
The floor,
The chair.
Let yourself register that support.
Allow the earth to hold your body for you right now.
Bring your awareness down into your feet.
Notice temperature,
Pressure.
Tingling.
Stillness or perhaps nothing in particular.
Let your attention travel slowly through your legs into your hips and pelvis.
Notice the weight of this part of the body.
Now let the ground take a little more of it.
To bring awareness to your lower belly.
Notice the soft movement that is already happening there,
Already happening there.
And if it feels comfortable,
Bring both hands to your lower belly and let your palms rest gently against your body.
There is nothing you need to do with your hands.
Simply notice what it feels like to have your own hands here.
Warmth.
Coolness.
Pressure.
Movement.
Stillness.
Or perhaps nothing you can easily name.
Placing your hands gently on your body can be a simple way to explore self-reiki,
Allowing energy to flow through your hands as you listen inward.
Bring your attention to your heart.
Slowly move your hands from your belly to your heart.
Place one hand over the center of your chest and the other over it.
Or adjust your hands in whatever way feels supportive.
Notice what is here.
Softness.
Emotion.
Maybe nothing obvious.
You don't have to name it.
Just notice.
And now,
For a moment,
Sense your whole body.
Not as something you need to manage,
But as something you can listen to.
Imagine an autumn hive at dusk.
The air has cooled.
The movement of summer is beginning to quiet.
The bees are still present,
Still alive with purpose,
But the rhythm has shifted inward.
Around the hive,
Imagine a soft field of golden light.
Not bright or demanding,
More like the last light of evening.
Warm and low,
Moving gently around the outside of the hive.
You may imagine a few bees moving through that light.
Circling,
Returning,
Settling.
In ancient traditions,
Bees and honey were connected with sacred wisdom and forms of knowing that could not always be reached through ordinary sight alone.
Tonight,
We are not here to predict anything.
We are here to become quiet enough to notice what is already here.
Intuition does not necessarily speak in one particular language.
It may first appear as a sensation in the body,
A softening.
Tightening.
Heaviness.
Expansion or contraction.
A pull towards something,
Or a resistance.
It may arrive as a sudden knowing.
A thought that appears without effort.
A word.
An image.
A memory.
A feeling.
Or an idea that seems to arrive before there's a logical explanation for it.
And sometimes,
Intuition may be much quieter than that.
It may be the subtle feeling that something is worth paying attention to.
The sense that you should pause.
The unexpected urge to take a different route.
Person who suddenly comes to mind.
The moment you know you need to say yes,
Or the moment something inside you quietly says no.
You don't need to decide which of these is intuition.
You don't need to make every sensation into a message.
Tonight,
We're simply becoming curious.
What does your inner knowing feel like?
How does it get your attention?
And what happens when you listen?
Bring to mind the intention you wrote earlier.
Don't analyze it.
Just hear the words once silently.
And now notice the very first thing that happens inside you.
Before the explanation,
Before the judgment,
Before you decide what you think about it.
Maybe your breath changes.
Maybe your body softens.
Maybe something tightens.
Maybe you feel warmth,
Resistance,
Excitement,
Calm,
Or uncertainty.
Maybe a word or image appears.
Maybe you suddenly know something.
Whatever you notice,
Let it simply be the information.
You don't have to interpret it.
You don't have to act on it.
You're learning to notice your own first signals.
Now ask yourself gently.
What happens in my body when I imagine moving towards this intention?
And then.
.
.
What happens when I imagine moving away from it?
Now notice whether anything changes.
A breath,
A sensation.
Of feeling.
I thought.
A subtle movement toward or away.
Or perhaps nothing changes at all.
There is no correct answer and there is no universal way intuition is supposed to feel.
You are learning the language of your own inner oracle.
If another voice comes in,
Fear,
Urgency,
Doubt,
Expectation,
Or someone else's opinion,
You don't need to push it away.
Let it be there.
Simply notice that voice too.
And then become curious about what exists underneath the noise.
What do you notice before you decide what you think about it?
There is no need to answer in words.
If something comes,
Let it come.
If nothing comes,
Let that be enough too.
As we move into Reiki,
Allow your hands to rest wherever they naturally want to be.
Perhaps one remains over your heart and one over your belly.
Perhaps your hands move somewhere else,
Or you let them rest by your sides.
There is no right position.
As Reiki is offered around the room,
Continue to notice.
Notice your breath.
Notice your body.
Notice any sensations that arise.
Warmth,
Coolness,
Tingling.
Heaviness.
So,
Yes.
Emotion.
I thought.
An image,
A sense of ease,
Or simply stillness.
You don't need to decide what any of it means.
You don't need to chase a sensation or make it happen again.
Just notice,
Let yourself receive,
And let your body speak in whatever language it chooses.
If you would like to move your hands during the Reiki,
You are welcome to.
You might return them to your heart,
Your belly,
Or somewhere else that feels as though it is asking for your attention.
And if you would rather simply rest,
That's perfectly fine too.
Begin to notice your breath again.
No need to deepen it yet.
Just notice that it has been moving all along.
Feel the weight of your body against the surface beneath you.
Now,
Notice your feet and legs again.
Notice your hips.
Your back.
Your shoulders.
Bring awareness to your hands.
Notice the palms,
Your fingers,
Any warmth or coolness,
Tingling or simple stillness.
If your hands are still resting on your body,
Take one more moment to notice.
And when you're ready,
Slowly release them.
Let them come to rest in your lap or by your sides.
Notice the difference between having your hands on your body and then the space after they have moved away.
You have spent this time practicing something very simple.
Listening before explaining.
Noticing before deciding.
Becoming curious about the language of your own body.
Bring your intention back to mind one final time.
You don't need to know exactly what it means yet.
Ask yourself this,
What would it look like to listen before I explain?
Just one time tomorrow.
Let one small possibility come or let the question remain open.
Take a slightly fuller breath in.
And a long breath out.
Begin to move the fingers and toes.
Maybe roll the shoulders.
Turn the head gently or stretch in whatever way feels good.
There's no rush.
When you're ready,
Let your eyes open or lift your gaze.
Notice that you're back in the room with your intention still yours to return to whenever you need it.
One more breath in.
And a long breath out.
Thank you for being here and for bringing your attention to your quiet and your own way of listening into the room tonight.
You do not need to leave with certainty.
The practice is simply becoming more familiar with the ways your own knowing speaks.
And perhaps when you need to listen again,
You can return to something very simple.
Place your hands on your body.
Take a breath,
Become quiet,
And notice.
Take your time standing up,
Drink some water,
And move gently back into the rest of your evening.
