Bring your awareness to your heart space.
We ask that this moment be held in the highest vibration of love,
Truth,
Protection,
And light.
May only the energies aligned with the highest good be present here.
May each soul receive exactly what they are ready to receive in a way that is safe,
Grounded,
Supported,
And aligned.
May we remain grounded in our bodies,
Open in our hearts,
And connected to our own inner knowing.
As we begin,
May we allow the energy to move where it is needed,
Without force,
Without expectation,
And without attachment to an outcome.
May each soul receive what is needed in this moment,
And may we trust the wisdom of our own experience.
Let yourself settle.
There is nothing to accomplish in the next few minutes.
Nothing to solve,
Nothing to improve,
Nothing to figure out.
Just arrived.
Imagine you're standing at the entrance of a hive on a September evening.
The light is low and gold.
The air still holds the warmth of the day.
You don't need to see it perfectly,
Just feel it.
A living place that has been working since spring.
The foragers are coming home.
They hover at the entrance one by one and set down what they carried.
Now let yourself imagine that your own life is this hive.
The year behind you is inside it.
Without judging the year,
Ask quietly,
What exists now that did not exist last September because I was here?
Don't force the answer.
Let it come in the way bees come home,
One at a time.
Maybe something large.
Maybe something very small.
Now bring your attention gently.
To everyone and everything you kept this year.
The people.
The work.
The home.
To animals,
The promises.
The small daily tending that no one counts.
You kept a great deal.
And ask without judgment,
Was I among the things I kept?
In a hive,
No bee is sent out hungry.
The colony feeds the ones who do the carrying.
Keeping the keepers is not a luxury there.
It is how the whole hive works.
So notice what the year asked of you.
Time?
Energy.
Attention.
Or something you do not have a name for yet.
Just notice and ask.
What have I not yet put back?
Now imagine the keeper,
Standing at the open hive in the gold evening light.
She does not take everything.
She looks at what is here.
She considers what the colony will need to get through the winter.
And she leaves what must remain.
Now you are the keeper,
And the hive is your life.
Ask,
What do I need to keep?
And if you feel depleted,
You do not have to pretend there is a reserve.
You can ask a different question.
What would help me become resourced again.
But one answer comes.
Now bring your attention to your hands.
Let your palms open facing up.
You do not have to give anything.
You do not have to make anything.
For these next few breaths only received.
Above you,
The last of the evening light,
Let a little of it come in through the top of your head and settle warm and slow in your chest.
On the inhale.
Receive what supports you.
Rest.
Love.
Whatever word belongs to you.
On the exhale,
Set down what you've been carrying for everyone else.
Again.
And release.
On Wartime.
Received.
And release.
Now bring to mind the sentence you just wrote,
Your intention,
The words you are taking home.
You do not have to believe them perfectly yet.
Just hear them.
Say your sentence silently to yourself.
Again.
And once more.
Now imagine setting those words down in the warm center of the hive,
The place the colony keeps what it will need for winter.
Not locked away.
Kept close enough to reach.
A sentence you can return to.
Let the words rest there.
You do not have to do anything else.
Only remember where you put them.
Begin to notice your breath again.
No need to change it.
Just the inhale.
And the exhale.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Feel the weight of your body still held.
Let your body know I am here.
Begin to notice the room around you.
The Sound of the Music.
The sounds beyond it.
The space around your body.
Bring your intention back one more time.
And ask yourself,
What would it look like to practice this tomorrow?
Not perfectly,
But just once.
But one small possibility comes.
When you are ready,
Let the breath deepen.
Maybe move your fingers,
Roll your shoulders.
And slowly in your own time,
Let your eyes open or lift your gaze.
Notice that you have returned.
And remember,
Your sentence is kept where you left it,
Whenever you need it.
One last breath in.
And one long breath out.
Welcome back.
