
Womb Yoga Nidra: Deep Healing
Beloved sister, welcome to this beautiful Yoga Nidra to connect you deeply to your womb space. In this practice you will enjoy a sense of calmness, relaxation, rejuvenation as well as a transformational healing and cleansing of old energies. Releasing trauma, anxiety and anger in a highly powerful way - this is ideally practised in your pre-menstrual phase or during menstruation to support these phases of your cycle. If you do not bleed anymore or not at all I recommend the new moon days!

Welcome beloved sister,
Welcome to your practice of yoga nidra.
I am so glad you're here.
Yoga Nidra,
Also known as yogic sleep or psychic sleep,
Is a deep state of trance between wakefulness and dream,
Where you will experience deep deep relaxation.
The unconscious levels of your mind will gently open up,
Allowing for deeper healing and connection to occur.
This yoga nidra is especially designed to help you connect to your womb space and also to help and aid clearing out old energies,
Stuck energies and leave you with a feeling of renewal.
Ideally this practice is done in the second half of your cycle,
So in your pre-menstrual phase or during your menstruation.
Now before we begin,
I would like to take a moment to give thanks to the Indian cultures who preserved their ancient healing practices that we are about to enjoy right now.
Despite the deep relaxation you might experience,
I would like to extract a promise from you now.
The practice of yoga nidra is the act of hearing and the act of feeling,
And these are the only important factors.
In yoga nidra you function on the level of awareness and the level of listening.
Please say to yourself now mentally,
I will not sleep,
I shall only listen to the voice.
Repeat to yourself,
I will not fall asleep.
Now take a deep breath and as you breathe in,
Feel calmness spreading throughout your whole body.
Now become aware of the sounds in the distance.
Become aware of the most distant sound you can hear.
Let your sense of hearing operate like a radar,
Searching out distant sounds and following them for a few seconds without getting attached.
Move your attention from sound to sound without trying to identify the source.
Slowly bring your attention to closer sounds,
Sounds outside this building and then to sounds inside the building you're in.
Listen to the closest sounds you can hear,
Perhaps your own breath or your heartbeat.
Now develop your awareness of the room you're in.
Without opening your eyes,
Visualize the four walls around you,
The ceiling,
The floor,
Your body lying on the floor.
Mentally see your body lying on the floor.
Become aware of the existence of your physical body lying on the floor or in your bed.
Your body is lying on the floor in perfect stillness.
Become aware of the natural breath,
Of your deep,
Spontaneous and natural in and out flow of breath.
Don't try to change it,
Simply observe how you're breathing while you're breathing.
Keep on listening to me while knowing that you are breathing.
The practice of Yoga Nidra begins now.
So please say mentally to yourself,
I am going to practice Yoga Nidra now.
I will not sleep,
I will remain awake.
Now I invite you to set an intention or a sankalpa for your practice.
Make it a short,
Simple and positive statement in the present tense and repeat the same sankalpa until you see it manifesting in your reality.
For example you could say,
I am an embodiment of the divine feminine.
Choose your sankalpa now and then repeat it silently to yourself three times.
Good.
Now we continue with the rotation of consciousness.
You will rotate your consciousness through the different parts of your body as quickly as possible.
Your awareness really has to jump from point to point.
Please repeat mentally the name of each part after me and simultaneously become aware of that part.
Right hand thumb,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth finger,
Fifth finger,
Palm of the right hand,
Back of the hand,

Lower arm,

Now we continue with the awareness of your breath.
You will start counting your inhalations and exhalations from 21 to 0,
Like this.
Breathing in,

Breathing out,

When you lose track of your counting,
Simply start over at 21.
There is no need to pressure yourself to reach zero.
Good.
Now let go of the counting and bring your awareness back into your body.
I ask you to awaken the feeling of heaviness in your body,
The feeling of heaviness.
Become aware of how heavy your body is in every single part.
You are feeling so heavy,
You're sinking into the floor.
Awareness of heaviness.
Now awaken the feeling of lightness,
The feeling of lightness.
A sensation of lightness and pure weightlessness in all parts of your body.
Your body feels so light,
It seems to be floating.
Awareness of lightness.
Now bring to your body the experience of cold.
Awaken the experience of ice cold in your body.
Imagine you're walking on a cold floor in winter,
Your feet so very cold,
You feel cold all over.
Awareness of coldness,
Coldness in your whole body.
Now awaken the sensation of heat.
Awaken the experience of strong heat in your whole system.
Your whole body is hot,
So hot,
You feel warm,
Hot all over.
Recollect this feeling of heat in summer when you're out in the sun and no shade is around you.
Heat all over and all around your body.
Awareness of heat.
Now I want you to awaken the experience of pain in your body.
Concentrate and try to remember the experience of pain.
Any pain you have experienced in your life,
Be it mental or physical,
Recollect this feeling of pain in your body.
Now awaken the feeling of pleasure in your body.
Any kind of pleasure,
Physical,
Mental,
Pure pleasure in your whole body.
Relive it,
Make it vivid.
Awaken the feeling of deep pleasure.
Make sure you're not sleeping.
Say to yourself mentally,
I am awake.
Now see,
Sense or feel a point of glimmering white light on the following areas of your womb space.
Your pubic bone,
White light.
Your left outer labia,
Point of white light.
Your right outer labia.
Left inner labia.
Right inner labia.
The head of your clitoris,
Point of light,
Total bliss.
Anus,
Point of light,
Perineum.
Your vaginal opening,
The left side of the vaginal canal,
The right side of the vaginal canal,
White light.
Relax.
The front part of the vaginal canal,
The middle section of your vaginal canal,
Your cervix,
Point of white light.
Your left ovary,
Your right ovary.
The left fallopian tube,
The right fallopian tube.
Your whole womb,
Your whole womb space filled with white glimmering light.
Your whole womb activated,
Pulsating,
Awake and alive.
Your whole womb filled with magical white healing light.
Now let go of your womb space and come with me on a journey.
Imagine yourself in a park in the early morning.
The sun has not risen yet and the park is completely empty except for yourself.
It is a beautiful park.
Lush,
Green,
Serene and so peaceful.
This park is just here for you and you feel that.
You feel that as you walk across the springy grass.
You listen to the birds whistle and call as they welcome in the new day.
There are gardens of roses,
White,
Pink,
Red and purple.
And you can smell their fragrance and see the early morning dew drops on their petals.
You stand in pure awe of this beauty.
Nearby this beautiful rose garden you see a fish pond.
Little golden glittering fish swim in and out amongst the water lilies and you see their graceful movements.
Their pure joy.
Their playfulness.
You continue walking between the trees.
Beautiful trees,
Some over and over with leaves,
Some widespreading and some tall reaching up to the sky.
There is a clearing between the trees and in this clearing you can see a small temple with an aura of white and golden lights shimmering around it.
You go to the door and enter the temple.
It is dim and cool inside.
The walls are painted in a beautiful dark ruby red.
You feel a deep sense of belonging here.
You know this is a temple to worship the goddess,
The mother,
The womb of the universe and your womb.
You belong here.
You sit down on the floor on a comfortable cushion,
Closing your eyes and becoming so still.
A sense of deep peace,
Harmony and belonging envelops you as the sounds outside fade into a far distance.
Now remember your resolve,
Your sankalpa.
Repeat that same resolve you made at the beginning of our practice in the same words and with the same attitude.
Repeat your resolve now three times clearly in your mind with feeling and emphasis.
Know that your prayer has been heard.
Now feel the earth underneath you,
Inviting you in,
Making space for your roots to grow deep and connect to her.
Feel your roots growing deeper and deeper,
Moving through fertile soil,
Through crystals and rocks,
Down and down into the earth.
As she's inviting you and pulling you closer,
She wants to connect with you.
And feel your roots growing until you reach the core of the earth,
Her womb space,
Connected to your womb space.
And now she asks you to wrap your roots around her core,
Around her womb,
So she can nurture you,
Her child,
Her beloved daughter.
And you feel the magic and power that's radiating from this melting pot of energy,
Red,
Golden,
Glowing heat.
See it,
Feel it,
Sense it.
And when you're ready,
Let this energy,
This red,
Glowing,
Golden energy,
Slowly rise up through your roots.
Feel your connection to the core of the earth.
Feel her fire,
Her molten energy rising up,
Vibrating,
Humming,
Moving.
It's swirling up your roots and then you feel it entering your feet.
Feel this liquid warmth.
It moves into your legs,
Expanding and radiating vitality,
Pleasure and energy.
Feel it rising up to your womb space and feel your whole womb filled with this glowing,
Dark red,
Deeply powerful earth energy.
Feel it connecting to your spine.
Where the warmth slowly crawls up your spine like liquid gold,
Caressing you,
Relaxing you,
Energizing you.
This feels so deeply pleasurable.
This,
My love,
Is your birthright.
As it moves up the front of your belly into your solar plexus,
Feel it radiating out to the rest of your body,
Up your chest,
Down your arms into your hands and out your fingertips.
Now you feel this energy climbing upwards,
Up your spine,
In your face and up to the top of your head.
You feel it collecting there.
You feel the earth energy pulsing,
Throbbing at the top of your head and now erupting,
Pouring down the surface of your skin.
Energizing,
Renewing,
Cleansing you to your core.
Every cell in your body,
Every cell in your womb is renewed and cleansed,
Is healed and energized.
You feel so aware and awake.
You feel so centered and relaxed.
You,
My love,
Are now ready for anything.
And as this liquid fire is slowly making its way down your body,
In your feet,
It takes away all old emotions,
All stuck emotions,
All traumas,
All old energy,
Everything that doesn't serve you.
She takes with her out your feet and down the roots,
All the way down to the core of your mother where it's been alchemized into something new.
And as you feel this process of alchemizing your old energies,
As you feel this process is now completed,
You can gently give thanks to your mother earth for her love and support.
And then slowly grow your roots back.
Let her go,
Knowing,
Trusting that she's always there for you.
Now relax all efforts.
Simply let go.
And become aware of your breathing.
Of your natural breath.
Become aware again of your whole body and your breathing.
Your body is lying totally relaxed on the floor.
You are breathing quietly and slowly.
Develop awareness of your body from the top of the head to the tips of your toes.
And say mentally in your mind,
Om.
Repeat.
Om.
Mentally to yourself,
Twice more.
Become aware of the floor and the position of your body lying on this floor.
Visualize the room around you.
Become aware of your surroundings.
Keep your eyes closed and lie quietly for some more time.
Now start wiggling your fingers and your toes and maybe stretching or yawning.
Please my love,
Take your time and do not hurry.
You just traveled deep.
You are sure that you are wide awake.
When you are sure that you are wide awake,
You can slowly roll onto your right side and curl up and enjoy this moment of coziness.
When you are ready,
You can gently sit up and open your eyes.
The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.
