Welcome to this guided visualization meditation aimed to help release negative attachments whilst gently guiding you through emotional cleansing to help calming and empowering the mind.
Begin by finding a quiet space where you can be comfortable sitting or lying down for the duration of the session.
Allow your hands to rest gently on your lap or by your side.
When you are ready,
Close your eyes softly.
We will start with three cleansing breaths to center ourselves into the room.
Take a slow deep breath in through your nose and into your diaphragm.
Hold for a moment and gently exhale through your mouth.
Feel your body begin to relax.
Inhale deeply,
Feel the belly rise up and exhale fully,
Letting go of any tension in your shoulders,
Your jaw,
Your forehead and neck.
Finally,
Deep breath into the stomach and you may wish to sigh out the exhale,
Allowing your body and your mind to sink deeper into stillness.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw soften.
Let your thoughts begin to slow down.
I'd like to invite you to imagine yourself standing at the edge of a wide open meadow.
The air is warm and soft against your skin.
The sky above is an endless canvas of blue.
Dotted with soft white clouds.
Wildflowers sway gently in the breeze and the grass beneath your feet is lush and cool.
This is the place that is safe,
Quiet,
Peaceful.
As you begin to walk slowly through this meadow,
You feel your body relax more deeply with each and every step.
With each breath,
You feel a sense of calm wash over you.
With every exhale,
You feel a little lighter.
As you rest here,
Notice how the clouds drift effortlessly overhead.
Each cloud represents a thought that can naturally arise.
Let it drift past.
Now imagine placing a negative thought,
Emotion,
Or attachment onto one of those clouds.
It could be a fear,
A regret,
A worry,
Something that no longer serves you.
Something you are ready to release.
Watch it float up from your heart like a dark mist into the sky.
Gently being absorbed into a passing cloud.
As the cloud moves away,
It carries that weight with it.
We will stay here for the next few minutes to release any negative,
Stagnant energy,
Any stress.
One cloud at a time,
One thought at a time.
Gently bring your focus to your breath and to this affirmation.
Quietly say to yourself,
I release what no longer serves me.
Watch the clouds drift further and further,
Becoming smaller and smaller until they disappear into the horizon.
Now as you continue walking,
You come across an ancient stone well in the middle of the field.
This well is deep,
Calm,
And sacred.
You notice a small pile of smooth stones at your feet.
Bend down and pick one up.
Hold it in your hand and let the stone represent a heavy feeling.
A fear,
An anxiety,
Or a lingering doubt.
Take a deep breath in and on the exhale,
Drop the stone into the well.
Listen as it falls deeper and deeper until it disappears into the silence.
Let that feeling go with it.
Pick up another stone.
This one may represent a memory,
A habit,
Or a negative attachment that you may have been holding tightly to.
Feel it,
Acknowledge it,
And when you are ready,
Throw it into the well.
One by one,
Drop each stone,
Letting go,
Enlightening your load.
We will stay here for a few minutes.
As you make room for clarity,
Peace,
And freedom,
Gently bring your awareness to your breath.
Inhale purity and exhale what no longer serves.
As a gesture of self-love,
Place your hands gently over your heart.
Fill the space you have created inside with light,
With love,
Feeling whole.
Breathe into that space.
As the meadow hums,
Feel yourself awaken by the nature in acceptance and love.
Watch the clouds above drift on to expose a clear blue sky.
And the sun gently warms your face.
Rest here for a moment in stillness,
And allow the peace you have created to fill your entire body.
When you are ready,
Begin walking back through the meadow,
Feeling lighter,
Clearer,
And renewed.
With each step,
You carry with you freedom.
Clarity,
Openness,
And peace in your heart,
Your mind,
And your body.
Before we finish this session today,
Take a deep breath in,
And slowly exhale.
Returning gently to the present and to the room.
Slowly move your fingers and your toes,
And opening your eyes.
Thank you for joining this session today.
Your meditation session is now complete.
