Hello and welcome. My name is Reverend Karima and I'm here to share a series of short prayers with you. Today I've decided to share one that I created to Mother Mary, Who I see as a motherly influence on us all. This prayer is not meant to be Catholic, Christian, Or in any way, Shape, Or form close to one religion. It is meant to be used by all. So with that all in mind, Let's pray together. You can repeat after me. Dear Lord, Thank you for sending Mother Mary. Thank you for helping me connect to her. I know I don't have to be a Christian to believe in her power and her immense motherhood. I now give her my religious trauma and I let her take it away. I ask her for guidance, For blessings, And help to keep going on the right path for me. I also ask that any fear in my heart will be cleansed away as they were never there in the first place. I know I am a divine creature and I know I can lean on Mother Mary. So I do. And I ask Mother Mary to forgive me for any harmful thought I might have had towards any religion. I affirm that I am equally grateful to Mother Mary as I am to the universe, Source, Or whatever I may call the divine. As divine creatures, We can see the divine in all. And I ask Mother Mary to help me do just that and to guide me on the right path for me. The Sufi mystic Hassan al-Imran once said that there are enough ways to get to God for every human because one way is created specifically for every human. So I ask you to help guide us right now, Mother Mary, To find the right place and to stand fast upon it. I thank you for being with us and I thank you for being our mother figure. Thank you.
