Welcome to your meditation on protecting your peace.
Make sure you're in a comfortable position,
Sitting upright,
Your spine tall,
Legs are crossed,
Or feet planted on the ground.
And welcome to today's practice.
I'm really excited to share this practice with you where you're coming back to yourself,
To your peace,
Your center,
Your breath.
So take a deep breath in.
And a deep exhale out.
You might have had a full day,
Or maybe your mind has been pulled in a dozen directions.
This is your invitation to let it all go.
Even if it's just for a few minutes.
Stay in this presence.
Allow your hands to rest by your sides or gently in your lap.
And gently soften your eyes or close them completely.
And again,
Take a deep,
Slow breath in.
And exhale fully.
Inhaling in.
Exhaling fully.
And let's do that again.
Inhaling in deeply through your nose.
And releasing through your mouth.
And feel the tension of your shoulders drop.
Feel the tension of the jaw release.
And continue to breathe.
And bring awareness to your body,
The pressure points upon the earth.
And now.
.
.
Visualize a soft light surrounding you.
This light is your boundary.
It's your peace.
It's your protection.
And with every breath in,
That light gets stronger.
That light gets more expansive.
It forms a shield around you.
It is your protection.
Nothing can disrupt it.
Nothing can get in unless you invite it in.
You are grounded.
You are safe.
You are centered.
Let this quiet space remind you,
You don't have to carry everything.
You get to choose where your energy goes.
Not everything deserves your attention.
Not everyone is owed access to your spirit.
Let that truth settle in.
Now,
Silently repeat this to yourself.
I choose peace.
I release what is not mine to carry.
I protect my energy.
Again.
I choose peace.
I am grounded.
I protect my energy.
I choose peace.
I am grounded.
Calm.
And clear.
I'll stay here for a moment.
Let the stillness wash over you.
And when you're ready,
Take one final deep breath in.
Exhale it out,
Bringing awareness back to your body,
Back to the room that you're in.
The sounds around you,
The temperature of the air.
And carry this feeling with you.
Throughout your day,
Throughout your life.
And remember,
Your peace is yours,
And it's not up to negotiation.
Namaste.
