Hello my friend,
This is Juliana and I'm so very happy that you are here today.
In this guided meditation,
I invite you to lie down and get comfortable.
Perhaps move your toes around a little bit.
Begin to soften your body.
And gently let your eyes close.
There's nowhere that you need to be other than here.
Now I invite you to take a slow breath in.
And let it out.
Nice and easy.
Again,
Let your body begin to sink into the bed.
With each breath,
Notice the heaviness that you release.
The day is over now.
Now breathe in again,
And with this exhale,
Let your shoulders drop.
Begin to loosen your jaw.
And encourage your whole body.
To begin softening.
Now we'd like you to imagine yourself.
Lying in an open field at night.
The crest soft beneath you,
The air calm and cool.
Perhaps in the distance,
We hear a bird.
Or the sound of an insect.
But what you notice even more is the sky above you stretched out,
Deep and dark,
Scattered with countless stars.
I invite you to watch the stars slowly.
Summer bright.
Some are faint.
All of them quietly glowing,
Patient and in hurried.
Exactly like you right now.
And remember,
There is nothing to do here but look up and breathe.
Just like the stars.
Neither you nor the stars need to be anywhere or going anywhere.
You're simply just being.
Now with each breath out,
Imagine yourself growing lighter.
As if you could gently drift upwards into that dark sky.
Feel yourself floating.
Weightless amongst the stars.
No sound now,
But your own slow breathing.
No thoughts you need to hold on to.
Just soft light and dark,
Endless space around you.
Now sometimes thoughts can surface,
But if and when they do,
Let it become a small star of its own.
A quiet point of light that fades into the sky behind you.
Now let yourself drift slower now,
Heavier.
The stars blurring softly into gentle light around you.
Now remember,
There is nothing left to think through tonight.
Nothing to solve.
Just this quiet,
Dark,
And the soft glow surrounding you.
Now I invite you with one final breath.
Let yourself sink fully into stillness.
As the stars fade into soft,
Warm darkness.
You don't need to try to sleep.
Just let go and rest.
Sink further in.
Take a slow,
Steady breath.
And let the sleep envelop you.
