This track is part of The Wounds Series, an expansion of the Inner Child Dialogues, exploring the core imprints that shape how we love, trust, and belong. Here, we meet the Rejection Wound — the pain of being unseen or unaccepted for who we truly are. In this dialogue, the inner child gives voice to that fear, and the adult self responds with unconditional acceptance and truth. Together, we remember that belonging begins within, and that self-rejection is no longer needed for love. To go deeper in this work, please explore my Insight Timer courses: The Path to Self-Love: Healing the Mother Wound and The Path to Wholeness: Healing the Father Wound. The healing happens in the staying.

Hello,

And welcome to Janoji Healing.

Take a gentle breath and arrive.

Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly,

And feel the rise and fall of your breath and the rhythm of belonging that lives within you,

And whisper softly,

I'm safe,

I'm here,

I'm not leaving myself.

This is an inner child dialogue,

A space where we listen to the younger part of ourselves and respond with love,

Safety,

And truth.

Today we meet the rejection wound,

The pain of being unseen,

Unchosen,

Or misunderstood.

The wound that taught us to hide our truth,

To keep love.

Let's begin.

They didn't want me.

I tried to be good,

To be quiet,

To be who they liked,

But it never worked.

It always felt like something about me was wrong.

I know that feeling.

You tried so hard to fit into spaces that couldn't see your light.

You learned to make yourself smaller to avoid rejection.

That was your way of staying safe,

And it worked for a time.

But now we don't need to hide to be loved.

But what if they don't like who I really am?

What if I'm too much,

Or not enough?

Our worth isn't measured by who accepts us.

Love that requires us to disappear isn't love,

It's fear.

You are allowed to be seen.

You are allowed to take up space.

And I will never reject the truth of who you are.

So I don't have to change anymore?

No,

You don't.

You are already enough.

When rejection comes,

We won't make it proof of unworthiness.

We'll make it a reminder to return home to ourselves.

You belong here,

Exactly as you are.

Take a slow breath.

Place both hands gently over your heart.

Whisper softly,

I belong to myself.

I will not reject who I am.

Rejection may have shaped us,

But it no longer defines us.

We are seen.

We are enough.

We are loved.

Know that you are safe.

Know that you are loved.

Namaste.

This one, I really felt it. I think this is the wound I have healed the most. Today I accept and love myself. I enjoy my own company. I'm alone, but not lonely. Not looking for anyone to validate me, I do that myself. Thank You, Thank You 🙏💜
