Welcome,
This is Jennifer Barba from Connecticut Healing Center.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And gently exhale.
Allow your body to soften wherever it can.
Let your shoulders drop.
Unclench your jaw.
Rest your hands in a way that feels comfortable.
With each breath,
Begin to arrive more fully in this moment.
Inhale,
Peace.
Exhale,
Pressure.
Inhale,
Calm.
Exhale the need to explain yourself.
Now bring your attention to the space around your body.
Imagine a soft,
Warm light surrounding you.
This light is your personal space.
It is safe.
It is calm.
It belongs to you.
You are allowed to have needs.
You are allowed to have limits.
You are allowed to say no without guilt.
You are allowed to say yes only when it feels aligned.
Take another deep breath in.
And slowly release.
Boundaries are not walls meant to keep love away.
Boundaries are gentle lines that protect your peace,
Your energy,
And your healing.
Repeat silently or out loud.
I am allowed to protect my peace.
I am allowed to honor my needs.
I do not have to overexplain my limits.
My no is complete.
My feelings matter.
My energy is valuable.
Notice if any part of you feels guilt,
Fear,
Or discomfort when you think about setting boundaries.
You do not have to push that feeling away.
Simply notice it with compassion.
You may say to yourself,
It is safe for me to choose myself.
It is safe for me to disappoint others when I'm being honest with myself.
It is safe for me to release responsibility for other people's reactions.
Take a slow breath in.
And let it go.
Imagine yourself standing steady and grounded.
Your feet are connected to the earth beneath you.
Your heart is open but protected.
Your voice is calm,
Clear,
And strong.
You can be kind and still have boundaries.
You can be loving and still say no.
You can care about others without abandoning yourself.
Bring one hand to your heart if that feels comfortable.
And repeat.
I choose relationships that honor my peace.
I choose honesty over resentment.
I choose self-respect over people-pleasing.
I choose to listen to my body,
My mind,
And my spirit.
Take a moment to feel the strength in those words.
You do not need to earn rest.
You do not need to earn respect.
You do not need to prove that your boundaries are valid.
They are valid because you are valid.
Take one final deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
As you return to your day,
Carry this reminder with you.
I can be compassionate without being consumed.
I can be generous without being depleted.
I can love others while choosing myself.
When you are ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the room.
And remember,
Your peace is worth protecting.
