Welcome to this mindfulness meditation to help you release any unwanted emotions or thoughts that do not serve you.

Please find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed,

Turning off or silence any distractions and find a comfortable seated position,

Softly closing down your eyes.

We will begin by relaxing the mind and the body.

So on your next inhale,

Take a long slow deep inhale as your breath fills up your body.

And a long slow exhale,

Completely emptying your lungs.

Take another long slow deep inhale.

And a complete full exhale,

As you release any stress and tension that you are holding.

Taking one more deep inhale,

Feel your body expand.

And another full exhale,

Allowing any remaining stress and tension to drift away.

And return back to your natural breath.

We can begin to relax the body now,

So take your attention to the top of your head.

As you relax the top of your head,

Continuing that relaxation down into your forehead and your eyebrows as they become heavy.

Softening around your eyes,

Your eyeballs and deep into your eye sockets.

As your face softens now,

Unclenching your jaw,

Allowing your tongue to rest away from the roof of your mouth.

Relaxing into your neck,

Your shoulders.

Allow them to be heavy and rest away from your ears.

Continuing the relaxation down into your arms,

All the way down to your hands and fingers.

Relaxing into your chest,

Your upper back and middle back.

Relaxing into your lower back and your stomach.

Allow your stomach to be heavy,

To soften.

Relaxing into your upper legs,

All the way down to your feet and toes.

And return your attention back to your breath as you breathe in and out of your nose naturally.

If your attention drifts off to a thought or to a sound at any point during this meditation,

That is okay.

Just be calm to yourself and return your attention back to your breath or back to my voice.

I want you to visualise that you are in the countryside,

Surrounded by mountains,

Beautiful nature.

And you're walking barefoot on the grass.

The grass is soft,

Beautiful and warm.

You can feel the blades of grass between your toes as you slowly walk on the earth,

Grounding your body,

Grounding your mind.

And as you keep walking on this beautiful earth,

You stop to come and sit on a stone wall.

Both feet are flat on the ground,

Still connecting with the earth.

And you are up on one of the mountains,

Looking out over the land.

You can see all the beautiful mountains,

The valleys.

And you are sitting right next to a valley,

And at the bottom of this valley is a lake.

A beautiful crystal clear lake.

The sun is shimmering off it.

It is still,

It is calm.

And the mountains that surround this lake in the valley,

Have beautiful green pine trees surrounding all of it.

The land is beautiful and luscious and green.

There is a beautiful blue sky.

The sun is shining.

You can feel the warmth on your skin.

It feels perfect.

And there is a gentle breeze blowing against your skin,

Keeping you at the right temperature,

Just perfect for you.

And as you sit here on the wall,

With your feet on the earth,

Looking out over the mountains,

Down into the valley,

With the beautiful lake beneath you.

You can now release what no longer serves you.

What negative thoughts,

What negative emotions.

There are clouds passing in the sky,

In the beautiful blue sky.

And each cloud that passes,

You can attach a word or a feeling to these clouds.

It can be feelings of anger,

Frustration,

Sadness,

Loneliness,

Betrayal,

Hurt,

Pain.

Whatever emotions,

Whatever you want to get rid of.

Just imagine these clouds are your emotions.

You can even visualise the word in the cloud,

Written in the cloud.

And just watch as these clouds pass by.

Starting from one side of your vision to the other.

Just floating across the sky.

They are not controlling you.

They are not hurting you.

They are not harming you.

They are simply passing by.

They are simply passing through you.

You don't need to attach to them.

You don't need to go into a story about them,

Or judge whether you like them or not.

Just simply watch them float by,

As you sit in the beautiful nature that you are surrounded by.

These emotions won't carry you along.

They are just floating across the sky.

It can be thoughts that you wish to also let go of.

Any negative,

Self-critical or self-defeating talks.

It can be judgements about yourself or others.

Comparisons.

Whatever negative thoughts or judgements towards yourself or others.

You can visualise these thoughts in the clouds now.

As they are passing by,

You can even see the words written out in the clouds.

You don't need to go into a story about them,

Or analyse them,

Or judge whether you like them or not.

Just simply let them go and let them be.

If any of these thoughts or emotions are becoming too overwhelming,

Just imagine your feet,

Your bare feet on the earth beneath you,

Connecting to Mother Earth.

Nothing can harm you here,

Nothing can hurt you.

You are safe.

If you have any remaining thoughts or emotions,

You can release the rest of these now.

Allow them to float across the sky and drift away into the distance.

As all the clouds leave the sky,

Leaving a beautiful blue open sky,

There are no clouds inside now.

Just take a moment to visualise one last time,

The mountains,

The valley,

The lake,

All the beautiful trees,

Feeling the sun and the wind on your skin,

Just immersing yourself in nature and getting grounded,

Your feet on the earth.

You can begin to take some deeper breaths into your body now.

You can slowly begin to move your hands and your feet and stretch out into the space around you,

Keeping your eyes closed.

Taking your time here,

You can begin to open your eyes,

Starting off gazing down at the floor,

Taking your time coming back around.
