Welcome to this guided meditation.

Please find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed,

Turning off or silence any distractions and find a comfortable seated position and softly close down your eyes if that's comfortable.

We will begin by taking three deep cleansing relaxing breaths.

So on your next inhale take a long slow deep inhale and a full exhale completely empty the air out of your lungs.

Taking another deep inhale notice how your stomach expands,

Your chest and shoulders rise and a complete full exhale allowing your mind and body to relax.

Taking one more deep inhale feeling your body expand and a complete exhale releasing any remaining stress and tension that you are holding and return your breath back to its natural rhythm,

Breathing naturally in and out of your nose.

Taking your attention to the top of your head now as you relax the top of your head,

Continuing that relaxation down into your forehead allowing your forehead and your eyebrows to become heavy,

Relaxing the muscles around your eyes and deep into your eye sockets,

Softening your face,

Your cheeks your nose,

Your mouth,

Allowing your tongue to rest,

Continuing that relaxation down into your throat and your neck,

Allowing your shoulders to rest away from your ears,

Continuing that relaxation down from your upper arms all the way down to your lower arms,

Your hands and your fingers,

Softening into your chest and your back,

Allowing your stomach to become heavy and just rest naturally,

Continuing that relaxation down into your upper legs,

Your lower legs,

All the way down to your feet and your toes as your body is completely relaxed now.

You can return your attention back to your breath as you breathe naturally in and out of your nose,

Just become aware of whatever sensations you notice.

It could be the cooler air around your nose on the inhale and the warmer air as you exhale.

If at any point during this meditation your attention drifts off into thought or to any external sounds,

That is okay,

Just be kind to yourself and become aware that your attention has drifted and return your attention back to the meditation and you are welcome to move at any time during this meditation to find a more comfortable seated posture,

Just be sure to move mindfully.

There are seven chakras,

Seven energy centers in your body.

Chakra translates as wheel,

A turning spinning wheel of energy and each chakra has a particular location in the body and governs aspects of who we are and how we relate to ourselves and the world around us.

Through our life experiences,

Through our pain and trauma,

Our chakras can get blocked,

They can get taken out of alignment and become unbalanced in our body,

Restricting the free-flowing energy and this can manifest into psychological,

Physical or emotional problems.

The heart chakra,

Anahata chakra is located at the center of your chest and the color of this chakra is green.

You can imagine,

Feel or visualize a spinning ball of vibrant green energy,

Spinning and swirling around at the center of your chest.

The heart chakra relates to love,

Connection,

Compassion and when it is out of balance,

We can feel lonely,

Isolated and unloved.

We can have an inability to love ourselves and to love others and we can view the world as separate to us and unloving or we can even become codependent,

Jealous and possessive of others.

You can imagine,

Feel or visualize your heart chakra spinning and swirling around at the center of your chest and it beginning to slowly open up.

As it is opening up,

It is beginning to heal,

Coming back into balance and harmony.

As it opens up,

You are allowing it to heal.

You can repeat silently or out loud after me,

My heart chakra is healing,

My heart chakra is healing,

My heart chakra is healing.

When your heart chakra is in balance,

You will feel self-acceptance,

A love towards yourself and others and to the world around you,

Unconditional love without anything in return.

You will feel supported,

Loved and cared for by all that exists.

It will help to cultivate feelings of compassion,

Compassion towards yourself and others,

Enhancing all of your relationships,

The relationship to yourself,

To others and to the world around you.

The mantra for the heart chakra is YAM,

Y-A-M.

This mantra vibrates and resonates at the heart chakra,

Activating the chakra and helping it to heal.

You are welcome to repeat silently or out loud after me,

YAM,

YAM,

YAM.

You can imagine,

Feel or visualize a bright white light entering your body at the crown of your head,

At the top of your head.

This light moves all the way down to the center of your chest,

To your heart chakra,

The spinning rotating ball of green energy.

This healing white light is entering your heart chakra as it moves back into alignment,

Balancing and harmonizing in your body.

Your heart chakra is healing.

Your heart chakra begins to slowly close up as it is now back in alignment,

Balance and harmony in your body.

You can take your attention off your chakra now and bring your attention back to your breath as you breathe naturally in and out of your body.

You can take your attention off your breath now and just sit in the stillness around you,

Allowing your body,

Your chakra to absorb the healing energy you have just created.

You can begin to listen to the sounds that are around you and start to get a sense of your surroundings.

You can begin to move your fingers and your toes,

Your hands and your feet and stretch out into the space around you,

Slowly waking your body.

Taking your time here,

You can begin to open your eyes,

Taking your time coming back around.

Thank you for meditating with me.
