In this uplifting meditation, Jacky helps children discover their inner strength through positive affirmations and playful imagination. Little explorers will prepare for life’s adventures by putting on their brave boots, courage belt, wise hat, and backpack of affirmations, learning that courage doesn’t mean not feeling scared — it means believing in yourself and trying anyway. It’s a joyful, confidence-boosting journey to help kids build resilience, bravery, and self-belief for whatever challenges come their way. Hello,

I'm Jackie.

Today we focus on courage and resilience.

Resilience means being able to bounce back from challenges,

Just like superheroes do.

I've got some great affirmations to help us.

Affirmations are words that act like little cheerleaders in your head.

They cheer you on saying you can do it.

They're also special tools for life's adventures.

They give you courage and strength when things feel tricky or when you try something new.

Let's start with a deep breath in and out.

Breathe in and out.

I'll say some short phrases and then I'll pause so you can repeat them.

Ready?

Say after me.

When things are hard I don't give up.

I find new ways and keep going.

I am strong inside and out.

Now imagine you're an explorer setting out on a big adventure.

Let's get you kitted out ready to go.

First step into your brave boots.

Say after me.

My boots make me feel as brave and strong as a bear.

I can handle whatever comes my way.

Next,

Fasten a wide belt around your waist,

The very centre of your body.

Say,

My belt fills me with courage.

Remember,

It's okay to feel anxious or nervous when you try something new or face a challenge but with courage you can push through.

Say,

I am confident in who I am.

I meet every challenge head on.

You'll also need a hat for your adventures.

What would your hat look like?

A cap?

A sun hat covered in flowers?

Or an explorer's helmet maybe?

You choose,

Then put it on.

This hat fills you with wisdom.

Say,

I am great at making good decisions.

I know what is right for me.

You'll also need a backpack for your adventures.

What special things are you going to put in there?

Well,

I suggest some sandwiches,

A drink and a few of your favourite snacks.

But I'm sure there's room for at least one special affirmation to help you on your adventures.

Here are a few ideas.

I'll say them,

Then you can choose which ones you want today.

Or even think of your own.

How about,

I believe in myself and my abilities.

Or,

I am enough just as I am.

Or,

I can do anything I set my mind to.

Or,

I am great at solving problems.

I'll be quiet for a moment while you choose which affirmations to put in your backpack.

Right,

You're ready for whatever adventures are out there for you today.

Say,

Every day is a new adventure.

I am ready.

Wonderful.

You can put on your special kit every morning as you start your day,

So you're always ready for your next adventure.

Bye for now.
