This meditation is brought to you by Indigo Alchemy,
Where meditation becomes simple,
Supportive,
And real.
Each guided practice is designed for those who are new to meditation or finding their way back to a daily meditation practice.
No prior experience is required.
You will be gently guided to slow your breath,
Settle your thoughts,
And reconnect with yourself,
With your inner wisdom.
Through short steady practices,
You'll discover that stillness isn't about escaping life.
It's about finding peace within it.
Welcome to this meditation,
Letting light shine in the darkness.
I'm Marianne,
And I'll be your inner wisdom guide.
The darkness isn't wrong.
It's a part of life.
It's a backdrop for the bright stars at night.
Desmond Tutu once said,
Hope is being able to see that there is light,
Despite all of the darkness.
This meditation will bring light and darkness into harmony with strength,
Courage,
And peace.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Gently close your eyes,
And if that's not comfortable for you,
Simply focus your eyes on an object nearby.
Begin to bring your attention inward.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
And let it out gently.
Again,
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Letting your chest and belly rise,
And exhale through your mouth,
Feeling a small release in your body.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your hands rest softly,
And let the pace of your breath begin to slow and steady itself.
Right now,
There's nothing to fix,
Or to figure out,
Just space to breathe and to be.
We all have moments that feel dark,
Times when life feels uncertain,
Heavy,
Or colorless.
This meditation is not about fighting that darkness,
But about discovering that even within it,
Light still exists.
As you continue breathing,
Imagine the darkness as a quiet backdrop,
A night sky before dawn.
It represents the times when life feels unclear,
When you can't quite see what's ahead.
You might feel lost,
Alone,
Or unsure if things will get better.
Now notice something subtle in that darkness,
A quiet hum of possibility,
Because even when you can't see it,
The light is always waiting to rise.
Think of a seed buried beneath the soil.
It grows in darkness before it ever reaches the sun.
And the same is true for you.
Some of your deepest growth happens in the quiet,
Unseen spaces of your life.
Take a breath in,
Feeling the air fill your chest.
And as you exhale,
Imagine releasing the need to rush toward greatness.
There is beauty in allowing yourself to be just where you are.
With each inhale,
Imagine a soft glow beginning to build within you.
It's gentle,
Not a blinding light,
But a calm awareness.
This light doesn't erase the darkness,
It transforms it.
It shows you that the dark is not empty,
It's full of depth,
Healing,
And quiet strength.
Now picture this inner light expanding,
Slowly and naturally.
It's the light of resilience,
The part of you that keeps showing up.
Even when things feel heavy.
Think about the moments in your life when you struggled,
A tough time that was frustrating,
Or felt too hard to handle,
And yet somehow you did.
That was your light,
Steady,
Even if you didn't see it then.
And as your light grows,
It starts to reveal things once hidden in the dark.
Truths about your courage,
Your compassion,
Your ability to endure.
You begin to see that darkness isn't a punishment,
It's a teacher.
It's a space where you learn to recognize your own brilliance.
Take a few breaths to honor that.
Breathe in gratitude for your strength,
And breathe out anything that no longer serves you.
Feel the balance,
Darkness and light,
Coexisting within you.
One gives meaning to the other.
You are both the shadow and the flame,
And that harmony is what makes you whole.
As we near the end of this meditation,
Take a deep breath in,
And a long,
Cleansing exhale out.
And before you open your eyes,
Allow these affirmations to fill you.
I'll say them three times.
The first reputation introduces the idea.
The second helps it sink in and register as meaningful.
The third creates emotional resonance,
A feeling of truth,
Or embodiment.
Repeat these affirmations silently or aloud.
My light grows even in the darkest moments.
The darkness within me is not my enemy,
It is where my strength is born.
I carry both shadow and light,
And together,
They make me whole.
Second set.
My light grows even in the darkest moments.
The darkness within me is not my enemy,
It is where my strength is born.
I carry both shadow and light,
And together,
They make me whole.
Third set.
My light grows even in the darkest moments.
The darkness within me is not my enemy,
It is where my strength is born.
The darkness within me is not my enemy,
It is where my strength is born.
I carry both shadow and light,
And together,
They make me whole.
Let your awareness return to the room you're in,
To the sensations of the present moment.
Take one final breath,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes or lift your gaze,
Carrying the gentle knowing that your light truly never leaves you.
May your light shine and your inner wisdom be with you this day and every day.
Namaste.
