A Prayer of Protection and Strength Putting on the Armor of God Put on the whole armor of God,

That you may be able to stand against the schemes of the enemy.

Ephesians 6 11 Jesus,

As I come before you now,

I thank you for your presence that surrounds me,

And your protection that never leaves me.

Tonight,

I choose to put on the full armor that you have given me,

The armor of God,

So I can stand firm in your strength and not my own.

Stand firm then,

With the belt of truth buckled around your waist.

Ephesians 6 14 Lord,

I fasten your belt of truth around me.

Let your truth steady my heart,

Guide my thoughts,

And protect me from every lie that tries to steal my peace.

With the breastplate of righteousness in place,

Ephesians 6 14 Jesus,

I place the breastplate of righteousness over my heart.

Cover what feels fragile,

Heal what feels broken,

And strengthen what feels weary.

Let your righteousness guard my emotions and keep me close to you.

And with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace,
