Now let's relax and learn a little bit about alpha brainwave state.
Alpha Brainwaves operate.

Alpha is the central point.
It is the connecting bridge between the faster,
More analytical parts of the brain and the slower,
More creative parts.
It represents the here and now,
Being present in the moment.
It is where we begin to just flow with the energies rather than think about things logically.
Alpha state allows you to stay in tune with a meditation without being distracted by random thoughts.
Alpha waves are slower,
Allowing you to just be as opposed to having to do.
It is a state of being awake but resting.
Being in that restful state helps you to stay calm.
While still having alertness and mental coordination.
Alpha reduces stress.
Think about being in a very stressful situation where you have to get something done.
Unable to do anything due to the stress.
You know you need to breathe more deeply.
As you do,
You feel yourself calming down.
You have unknowingly entered Alpha State.
From there,
You're able to do what needs to be done in a calm,
Cool way.
Alpha is the state of being focused,
Coordinated and clear.
Without stress.
Think of Alpha as the Zen state you sometimes see martial artists enter,
Where suddenly their intuitive awareness peaks as their minds become quiet.
They begin to flow with their own energies and every movement appears to be flowing from the last into the next.
They're fully present in the energy of what they're doing.
Alpha waves bring your attention more to the flow of energies rather than any mental or physical distractions.
This makes you more able to focus and be productive,
And reinforces the belief that we achieve more in a state of flow than we do in active concentration.
It is like the difference between hitching a ride on a perfect energy stream that already exists,
And having to make a new stream.
Alpha brings the knowingness that everything we need is already here for us.
We just have to connect with it.
What does self-estate feel like?
Have you ever taken time to look around?
To really pay attention to the energies and harmony that exist in nature.
Perhaps you have taken some slow,
Deep breaths while sitting quietly in a park.
And noticed how it transported you to a more peaceful place.
Maybe you've taken a solitary walk in a forest or by a lake and felt yourself relax as you absorb your surroundings.
You get that sense that everything is okay.
Nature reminds us of that.
Alpha is a feeling of being connected to the big picture,
The flow of life.
Not being distracted by the small things.

You are calm,
But not attached.
When the stresses of life weigh you down,
Take some time out.
