Welcome,
Beloved one.
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down,
And allow your body to settle.
Close your eyes if that feels safe.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in and gently sigh it out.
This time is for your heart,
For your emotional self,
For your nervous system.
You are safe here.
You are held.
Bring your attention to your heart space,
The center of your chest.
Notice any sensations,
Warmth,
Openness,
Tightness,
Or stillness.
There is nothing to change.
Simply observe.
With each inhale,
Imagine a gentle,
Soothing light flowing into your heart.
With each exhale,
Allow tension,
Worry,
Or heaviness to soften.
If emotions arise,
Acknowledge them without judgment.
Imagine them floating gently away,
Like leaves on a stream.
You may place a hand on your heart if that feels grounding.
Feel the steady rhythm.
Feel the gentle rise and fall.
Feel the life present in every beat.
Continue to breathe softly,
Letting your heart feel supported,
Safe,
Nurtured.
Now bring your awareness back to the body as a whole.
Notice your breath,
Your presence,
Your safety.
And when you feel ready,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Stretch your body gently,
And slowly open your eyes.
Carry this gentle heart awareness with you.
You are safe.
You are held.
You are enough.
