Hello and welcome to this channel.
Welcome to this time of meditation.
My name is Orizel Jimenez and at this time we're gonna go through a style of meditation that we can use with the Word of God and that style is the Lectio Divina meditation style and in that style what we do is that we will read the Word of God.
We will read a verse from the Word of God then reread it again but the second time we're gonna ponder and ask ourselves questions about that verse.
The third time we're gonna read it again but this time we will pray quietly this verse.
We will pray about and then the fourth step,
The fourth thing that we're going to do is that we're going to contemplate on this verse and just be still in the presence of the Father,
In the presence of God and so let's just get started.
So the verse that I have today it is Psalm 1914 where it says let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight O Lord my rock and my redeemer.
So I hope this verse brings you,
It reminds you of the calmness of God,
How he is awesome,
How he wants us to be,
How he wants us to meditate on his Word,
To meditate with a sincere heart so that it can be acceptable on his sight and that he is our rock and our redeemer.
So let's read it again and this time we're gonna ponder on it and we're gonna ask ourselves questions.
It goes like this,
The verse Psalm 1914 it says let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight O Lord my rock and my redeemer.
So we ought to speak things that are beneficial to others,
We have to say things that are helpful to others as it says,
It states in the Word of God,
Inefficiency.
So we ought to,
Our words need to align to what is in our heart.
Is it aligning?
Is what you're saying aligning with what the Word of God says and what it is that you have in your heart?
When you come to prayer,
Do you come surrendering to God?
Do you come giving yourself to him?
Does your words that you say to others are beneficial?
Are they helpful to them?
Do they align to what you say when you meditate in the presence of the Father?
Let's ask ourselves that.
Let's ask what the Word of God says.
Let's see if our words as it says,
Let the words of my mouth,
So let's ask that,
That our words be in line with what we meditate with our hearts.
Are they acceptable?
What we say to others,
What we say to ourselves,
Is it acceptable?
Is it pleasing?
As also says in Psalm 104.
So,
What we have stored in our hearts,
In our hearts,
Align with what we meditate in the presence of God.
Let's ask ourselves that question.
So,
Let's read it again.
Let's read this verse again.
It says,
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord,
My rock and my redeemer.
Let's pray quietly in this verse.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Let the words,
Our words be few.
Let the words that come out of our mouth and that are in our mouth,
What we think be in alignment to what we meditate in our heart.
They be in alignment to what we have stored in our heart.
That when we come to you,
Father,
We are sincere that we present ourselves as we are and that our words will say what is in our heart.
That we present to you that we are not worthy,
But yet you want us to be by our side.
You want us to be acceptable.
You want us to be close to you.
You want our meditation of our heart.
For you are our rock.
You are my rock.
You are our rock.
You are my redeemer.
You are our redeemer.
Lord Jesus,
We thank you for this.
That you are a redeemer.
So Lord,
Please accept the words that they align to what is in our hearts.
That when we meditate on your word,
We speak truth to others as we speak to you when we meditate.
So Lord,
Thank you all this in the name of Jesus.
So let's take some time to meditate on Jesus.
Let's take some time to meditate on this verse.
Let's take some time to be in the presence of the Father.
Let's take some time to be,
We are a rock,
A redeemer.
Let's be still for a moment.
Let's just be at peace.
So I hope you're blessed by this verse.
I hope you're blessed by this opportunity that we just had to be in the presence of the Father.
To meditate on his word.
To bring into his presence our heart and recognize that he is our rock.
That he is our redeemer.
That King Jesus Christ came to die and save us.
So be still in his presence if you want to live a little longer.
If you want to stay a little longer in his presence,
I invite you to do that if you would like.
And if not,
We'll leave it here.
But have a wonderful day.
Stay encouraged.
Stay uplifted.
Seek Jesus all the time.
Amen.
