Hello and welcome.
We are talking about happy mindset at home and I'd like to invite you to do a beautiful practice with me now of heart breathing.
In this practice you will learn techniques to calm your mind and open your heart.
So just settle down into a comfortable position sitting or lying down whichever you prefer.
Just feeling your body relaxing into this position as you bring your awareness to your breathing,
Taking deeper longer breaths,
Really feeling into your sitting bones or the back of your body as your energy and your awareness grounds into this place and time of now.
Allowing any sounds around you or any sensations to be part of the practice,
Just noticing them and then bringing your focus and your awareness back towards yourself,
Your breath and as you continue taking nice deep relaxing breaths and you feel your body getting heavier,
I'd like you to move your fingertips and place them over your heart with one or two hands and now begin to breathe directly into your heart space.
Breathing in for a count of three and letting go for a nice slow count of four and as you breathe in into your heart,
Imagine it becomes more open,
Expanded,
With your awareness placed on it.
All your focus is pulled out of your mind,
Out of the busyness of your day and just into your heart,
Feeling the relaxation and the peace and I'd like you to ask yourself now,
What am I grateful for?
You need to breathe into your heart space,
Continue to ask and feel the answers bubbling up as your heart opens even wider with gratitude and love and just notice how much calmer and more still your mind is,
How much more relaxed your whole body feels,
Just by placing your whole attention and breath into your heart.
Continue breathing into this space,
Able to connect to a happy mindset by connecting to your heart,
Away from stress and frustration and busyness and just simply connecting to the here and now through your breath and through the power of your heart.
