Thank you for joining me.
Let's just be here for a moment.
Find a comfortable position,
Whether you're seated or lying down,
Take a moment to just get comfy with a pillow or a blanket,
And once you've settled in,
Close your eyes,
And notice your breath.
Let's go inward.
Imagine a soft,
Golden light.
This soft,
Golden light is sitting just above your head,
Like the warmth of the afternoon sun.
It melts over your scalp,
Your forehead,
And your brows.
Take a deep breath in.
Hold at the top of your inhale for three,
Two,
One,
Let it go.
Let the warmth pool over and swirl around your jaw.
Release your jaw.
Feel your breath.
Watch it travel effortlessly through your throat.
This soft,
Golden light travels into your chest.
As you breathe in,
It grows brighter and warmer.
What is the energy like here?
What is the energy like?
Gently observe.
Whatever comes forward,
Hold it with permission to just be.
Whatever comes forward,
The good,
The bad,
The happy,
The sad,
Let it simply sit with you for a moment.
Don't forget about your breath.
Take a deep inhale in.
One more time,
Take a deep breath in.
Think whatever came forward.
Follow the soft,
Golden light as it continues down to your solar plexus.
Here is where we hold so much of the doing.
We often spend our days bracing against the news or our to-dos and lists,
And most often the very thing our soul thirsts for.
We resist rest because it feels like giving up.
We resist kindness because we deem ourselves unworthy.
But in this moment,
Let us practice the art of dropping the shield.
There's no need to brace against anything here.
You can let it go.
Follow the soft,
Golden light as it spirals around your legs,
Through your knees,
Down your calves,
And out your toes.
Feel the warmth.
Rest in this glow.
As your body is supported by the earth,
You do not have to hold yourself.
As you sit,
Basking in this glow,
Acknowledge the part in you that wants to keep running.
Acknowledge the part in you that wants to keep running.
Let it know that it can rest too.
So whatever it is that you've been resisting,
Maybe it's an emotion,
Help,
Stillness,
Let it sit with you now.
Take a deep breath in,
Fill up your ribcage.
Exhale out.
Start to bring small movements back into your body.
Slowly.
There's no need to rush.
I invite you to place your hands on your heart as you take a moment to thank yourself for taking this pause.
For taking a pause in a world that is constantly demanding,
Constantly asking for more,
But you chose to pause.
So come to stillness wherever you are.
Take a big inhale,
Grow tall in your spine.
As you exhale,
Draw your shoulders down away from your ears.
I leave you with this final question.
What would happen if you let in the one thing that you have been denying yourself?
Go with love.
Namaste.
