I'll give you a glimpse of a reverse engineer process to make meditation a daily practice and a priority in your life.
My first suggestion is to add a 3 second pause to your daily routine.
For example,
Before you take the first sip of your coffee,
Count 3,
2,
1 and then drink it.
If you want to say something to a friend or a colleague,
Count in your head 3,
2,
1 and then decide if you still want to say that thing or not.
This eventually happens after a few years of meditation to anything you want to do,
There will be a pause,
A pause to come back to the present moment and decide.
You no longer do everything on autopilot.
I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
You come to the present moment and you do everything with intention.
