When we’re not being met, the experience itself can be painful—but often, we add another layer by turning it into a story about ourselves. Maybe we decide we’re too much, too sensitive, not important, or somehow need to become easier to meet. In this track, we’ll practice noticing what happens in the body, pausing before trying to fix the interaction, and recognizing the stories that can arise. From there, we’ll explore a different possibility: what if the true story is simply, “This matters to me”?
