Hello and welcome to this meditation.
I invite you to look for a comfortable position,
Preferably on a chair with your back straight and your feet on the floor.
This can also be on the floor,
Sitting on a mat or a cushion.
The important thing is that you feel at ease and relaxed.
Make sure there are no external distractions.
Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath,
Hold the air for a few seconds and release it slowly until you empty yourself completely.
That's it.
Keep breathing.
From now on there is nothing to do,
Nothing to control,
Nothing to achieve.
Just let yourself be guided by my voice.
Just breathe.
Do not try to change your breathing,
Just let it happen naturally.
Notice how the air enters and leaves through your nose in a calm and relaxed way,
Warm and refreshing at the same time.
That's it.
At your own pace.
Now feel your body.
Feel each part of this wonderful vessel that is your body.
Accept all the sensations that might appear.
Some discomfort,
Maybe some tension.
Do not reject anything.
Everything is fine.
Accept it and just breathe.
Now I'm going to ask you to visualize a tree,
A beautiful and robust tree,
Standing in the middle of an immense and leafy forest.
It can be any tree that you want.
You might have some kind of favorite tree or the image of one which ever capture your attention.
Use this mental picture in your mind and imagine that you are that tree.
From the roots to the cup,
I want you to visualize a complete clear image of it.
The colors,
Textures,
Dimensions,
The shape of its branches,
The leaves and the incredible beauty and energy around it.
Now I want you to visualize your feet in contact with the ground.
Imagine that they are like the roots of a tree,
Strong,
Clinging deeply into the ground,
Into the nourishing soil.
Visualize how through your legs flows the sap loaded with life from the roots and through the thousands of branches in the form of veins and arteries that cross your entire body.
This water,
Full of life,
Is loaded with nutrients and minerals.
Your legs,
Together with your feet,
Are the firm anchor that connects you with the earth.
They are your base,
Your foundations for life.
Feel that connection and how the energy flows from the root,
Slow but firm,
Like a latent pulse that emanates from the deepest place.
Now I want you to put your attention on the area of your abdomen and your chest.
Notice how they expand and contract with each breath.
Feel the rhythm of your breath.
That's it,
At your own pace.
There is no hurry.
Notice how the air enters your body,
Raising your abdomen first,
Then your chest.
Now feel the area of your lower back and the weight it supports along with the upper part of your back.
Imagine how all these central parts of your body make up the solid trunk of that tree that you are now.
Strong,
Tall and solemn,
Erected with pride and tenacity from the origins of your existence in this physical world up to the present day.
Its bark is rough and fluted.
It protects itself from all the inclemencies of life and over the years it has become thick,
Housing the inner parts of that tree.
The impressive anatomy of a trunk,
Making it rich from the roots to the highest top of the forest.
Feel also the weight of your shoulders and how they firmly support your arms that are now the tall and flexible branches of your tree,
Extended into the sky,
Full of leaves and new shoots,
Looking for the energy of the sun to open its flowers and color its fruits.
Right at the top,
Visualize your head.
Imagine how the top of it,
It's your connection with the infinity,
Like a flower of a thousand petals is the top of this immense and majestic tree that you are now,
Crowning this incredible creation of nature,
A beautiful tree in the middle of a forest.
And there you are,
Like a tree,
Standing tall in the middle of your forest,
Breathing peace and tranquility,
Inhaling the present,
Exhaling the past,
Feeling in harmony with the rest of the plants and creatures of nature.
You are now in total connection with the earth,
With your roots firmly secured to the ground.
Some autumns and winters have already kissed your branches and bright springs have given way to the warm summer,
But you,
You're still there,
As the manifestation of the exuberant life and light that springs from within you,
The seasons you have seen coming and going,
Always bringing some new experiences,
Some new ideas to help you learn,
That enrich your soul.
And you,
You're still there,
Breathing in peace,
Calm,
At ease,
Breathing out,
Standing like a tree.
I want to thank you for sharing this meditation,
For dedicating this precious time for yourself,
Enabling you to heal through the energy of nature and its powerful visualization within you.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you,
And may you be very happy.
