With all the turbulence right now in banking and the financial markets,
I know fear is becoming part of your daily life.
And I'd like to offer a different perspective,
One that will take you back to love.
Hello,
My name is Katherine Erickson,
And welcome to another episode of Empowered Way.
When fear takes over,
You cannot think.
You simply react.
And that,
My friends,
Makes it worse.
It makes it exaggerated.
It creates its own self-belief system.
So the key is to take several deep breaths,
Step away from whatever has triggered your fear,
And go within.
Take a moment to do that right now,
If you're not driving or doing anything dangerous,
Because I feel the fear that people are experiencing right now,
And I don't get caught up in it.
I keep my focus on love.
I keep my focus on what I am supposed to be doing here on this earth during my brief lifespan.
So if you can,
And if it's safe to do so,
Go ahead.
Close your eyes.
Settle in.
Allow your body to adjust until you're in a comfortable place.
And take that nice,
Long,
Luxurious,
Deep breath in,
And hold it for just a heartbeat,
And then release slowly,
As if you were releasing through a straw.
Repeat that cycle.
Breathe in deeply.
Experience the vitality of that breath as you're breathing in life-saving oxygen,
And then pause,
And then release slowly.
And this time on the release,
Imagine that fear is riding your exhale.
Imagine fear riding the ocean,
And as the waves come up on your shore,
Don't allow fear to land.
Send it back as the water recedes,
As the waves recede,
And acknowledge fear.
Let it know that you know it's here,
But you are not riding on that surfboard with it.
You have something bigger in mind,
And as you go deeper into yourself,
Turn your awareness to the inside,
To your being,
And imagine now that you are diving deep.
You have a magical snorkel mask that allows you to breathe underwater,
And you're diving off a cliff in the water.
The cliff is under the water,
And something is drawing you deeper.
Something wants to see you,
To meet you,
To meet you,
To be you,
And it's a magnetic pull.
And as you go deeper,
You swim deeper,
It gets a little bit darker and darker,
Until you reach a spot where you are suspended in the water.
And as you are open and aware,
A light appears.
It illuminates the darkness,
And you know this light is what you have been searching for.
It's what you've been longing for.
It wants to call you home,
And as you stay suspended,
The light comes into you.
The light appears before you.
The light is you.
And from this space,
From this energy,
From this connection,
Is now how you will live.
So breathe that in.
Breathe in the life of love,
Because that's who you are,
And you've now merged with it.
And this energy will carry with you after this meditation is over.
But just for now,
Release all thoughts,
And just breathe in the light.
Allow it to energize all of your cells,
All of your organs,
Your entire body,
Until you are just being the light.
Because this is who you are.
You just forgot while you're on the surface.
And know that you can return here anytime you need that refresher course.
Because the world up top is so mesmerizing that we forget who we are in the depths of our being.
Now that you know,
And now that you've experienced it,
When you're ready,
Start slowly swimming back to the surface.
But you see the light.
It's in you.
It's in your heart.
It's in your third chakra,
Your voice.
It's in your third eye.
And your crown chakra is totally open.
As you swim up,
You notice that the lower three chakras are no longer in fear.
Instead,
They are wrapped in love.
Because the light has flown down and moved and surrounded your entire energy field.
And as you come up to the surface,
Know that whatever it was that was causing you fear,
This beingness,
This energy is your truth.
And you can say that to yourself.
I am love.
I am peace.
I am well.
I am whole,
Perfect,
And complete as a being of love.
And so as you come back to your body and return to the surface of life,
Remember that.
Remember who you are,
A being of light.
And as such,
You are protected.
You are safe.
You are well.
And you will project that out to the world.
